Nicki Minaj has had enough of Elon Musk’s shenanigans, and she took to his very platform to let him know that she’s not with the mess — all while promoting Lil Uzi Vert’s latest project.
Engadget reported that Twitter temporarily began putting a limit on the number of posts its users can read in a day on Saturday (July 1), with unverified accounts being limited to only 600 tweets.

This temporary throttling was originally claimed to be due to Musk’s desire to allegedly prevent “extreme levels data scraping and system manipulation,” but was later revealed to be due to Musk’s apparent failure to pay for Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services, which is what’s ultimately causing the “throttle” in the first place.
Minaj, however, doesn’t necessarily care about all that, preferring instead to toss Musk under the bus while plugging her friend and collaborator Uzi’s Pink Tape LP.

“Planning out how I’ll use my 600 limit today to promote the #Pinktape, mush the barbz in they head, block & beat the duds while dissing them & cracking up laughing at my own jokes, posting at least 1 nene GIF, call btchs my sons while being bossed around by #PapaBear Hmmm,” she wrote on Sunday (July 2).
Nicki shouldn’t fret too much. As a verified user, her limit has been raised to 8,000 from 6,000 Tweets, not 600.
The long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s Eternal Atake, Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape arrived on Friday (June 30) complete with a cameo from Nicki Minaj. The Young Money queen appears on the song “Endless Fashion,” which samples Eiffel 65’s 1998 eurodance hit “Blue (Da Ba Dee).”
Shortly after the album’s release, Nicki detailed the “exhausting” recording process behind her guest verse, which she toiled over for 10 hours to ensure it made the deadline.

“Girl I started @ 8am & finished like 5pm. When I tell you I was exhausted by the time I was done. Lol. B/c I was rushing to get it in on time,” she tweeted in response to Uzi’s girlfriend, JT, who had applauded her for “how fast you turned your verse in.”
She added: “I kept telling him ’30 mins’ then hitting him back 2 hours later TB 15-20 more minutes Uzi!!!! I did that ALL DAY LONG YO!”
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is readying an eagerly anticipated new album of her own, Pink Friday 2, which she officially announced last week.
“Dear Barbz, I’ve been trying to find the right time to tell you this for a few days. Due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time, I’ve shifted the album date just a tad bit,” she wrote on social media.

Nicki also revealed plans to hit the road, saying that an accompanying tour will follow early next year.
“I will give tour deets closer to that time, but obviously the tour will start around the first quarter of 2024,” she wrote. “I’ll also share the REAL album cover at a later date.”
