Nicki Minaj Quietly Adds Tekashi 6ix9ine Collab “FEFE” To “Queen” Album

When Tekashi 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj teamed up for “FEFE,” the song wasn’t initially intended to be included on Black Barbie’s recently released Queen album.

But now the track has been added to the digital versions of the album on Apple Music, Spotify and TIDAL. However, the original version of the project still exists on the various streaming platforms.

“FEFE” is currently listed as a “Bonus Track” on Apple Music, while it’s simply added to the end of the tracklist on Spotify and TIDAL.

It’s possible Minaj is trying to secure the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart by adding the song.

“FEFE” was released on July 22 and debuted on the Hot 100 at No. 4. According to a tweet from Chart Data, the song is now eligible for platinum status.

In a since-deleted Instagram post, 6ix9ine celebrated the achievement, albeit a bit prematurely.

“Ima just leave this here,” 6ix9ine captioned a photo announcing the certification. “BY THE WAY LETS NOT FORGET ‼‼ I HAVE GUMMO, KOODA, KEKE, BILLY, DAY69 PROJECT ALLLLLLL THERE AS WELL BY MYSELF. DICKKKKKRIDERRRRSSSSSS.” [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

HITS Daily Double reports Queen is expected to move 145,000 total album equivalent units in its first week with 56,000 to 61,000 of those being pure album sales.

    1. Her album did solid numbers but is also not competing with other albums most notably Cardi B. 145k is great for anyone. Adding Fefe will undoubtedly boost the numbers to compete with the Drakes, Beyonces, and Cardi B’s. Kind of a cheap move to save face. You don’t have to be an industry person to figure out they she’s on the decline. It happens to everybody. Had a great run.

      1. She had to bundle concert tickets with the album, she added Queen merch discounts with the album, and now adding fefe smh she is doing the most to not gain much of a spot

      2. Nicki was a product of the industry. Cardi came off the same production line. The funny part is watching Cardi walk around like the same thing ain’t gonna happen to her.

        18 months, max.

    2. So how is Nicki the best then? She has to bundle everything, she has to sale merch, she has to add songs to the album for more streams, so how is she the best then? When all cardi did was put out her album…. THAT’S IT…..Nicki is talented but it’s just not 4-5 years ago anymore she is almost played out.

    3. It’s technically not even her song, she’s only a feature on it. But I do hope she gets what she’s looking for, she doesn’t seem to take losing all that well.

      1. Not saying there is no ego involved as well, but it‘s business first and foremost. The label didn‘t pump a fortune into this record for it not to make a big splash on the charts. Did you really think she featured on that 69 song out of the goodness of her heart?

    4. Nicki brother is a child molester rapist so her up here wit this child molester is not surprising birds of feather flock together

    5. take away streams these 2018 rappers wouldnt be going platinum, let alone Gold with their albums.

      Nobody buying their trash music.

      1. Take away streams and no rapper is doing sales… streaming took over they don’t need a whole album now just a single smh mofos be lucky to move 100000 in physical album sales.

        1. Yeah Rap Fans are not really the loyal ones when it comes to actually for art but they definitely first in line when there is sh*t for free. btw I’m not excluding myself its just the sad truth.

          1. I doubt country fans are buying Cd’s either. Why spend money on something you can get for free with no consequences? That’s just stupid. If I can keep a bit more money in my pockets while millionaire artists can go on a few extra tour stops to make it up, that sounds like a good deal to me.

    6. It just occurred to me that now that CDs are basically obsolete, artists could theoretically just upload their albums to whatever medium and alter it over the course of time.

      1. Some artists do this already. They call it a dynamic album. Might change some tracks out to match what time of the year or whatever. Or just replace songs which arent becoling popular. Eminem should do it with revival. Take 9 tracks off. Pusha should add another 7 to DAYTONA.

    7. Crazy thing I realized no matter how much you hate this kid, his beefs, clout chasing!! It seem to be working for him…… And crazy to see hes gaining more and more fans. And a lot kids love him……. SMDH. Scary to see what the future is gonna be like with all these kids wildin.

    8. That picture of 69 and Nicki makes me sick. It’s sad to see how low she has stooped. She’s clearly trying to catch back up to Cardi B with this move. Only Cardi never had to do a song with a pedophile. Neither did Drake, but fake drug kingpin Pusha is on the same bill as 69. But it’s only a matter of time before that rainbow pedo is in the pen.

    9. Nicki is like 20 years older than this guy, pathetic. Trying so hard to stay relevant, so hard. Very sad!

    10. She quietly added it….lol…because the bitch was kinda just clowning it with Drake. Now her ass needs it to boost her album sales.

      1. bruh… its still her brother. im sure shes not an advocate for the choices he has made in life. you cant shit on people by having unconditional love for their family.

        1. If my brother did the same shit Nicki’s brother did, I’d disown him and never speak to him again for the rest of my life. I don’t give a fuck if we were super tight with each other growing up. All that will get thrown out the window. And that goes for any family member.

    11. bruh… its still her brother. im sure shes not an advocate for the choices he has made in life. you cant shit on people by having unconditional love for their family.

    12. It makes sense that Nicki and Tekashi are homies- Nicki’s brother is a convicted sex offender against children, and so is Tekashi!
Both of them deserve to be removed from public light.

      Their music also sucks.

      1. Are we both looking at the same Day69 tracklisting? Because everybody I listed is featured on that album.
