Nick Cannon Makes ‘At Least $100M A Year’ To Help Fund His Growing Family

Nick Cannon has revealed that he makes around $100 million a year to help fund his massive family.

Cannon spoke about his 11 children in a candid interview with the Los Angeles Times and said his lifestyle comes attached with a big price tag.

“When you think about my lifestyle, I have to generate at least $100 million a year,” Cannon said, before admitting that he had children with his six different baby mothers partly because he’s a people pleaser.

“A lot of them are in the same age group,” he said, noting that they all wanted to have children. “And I just wanted to give them what they desired. I kept saying, ‘I can handle it.’”

He added that he’s seen the memes and the criticism directed at him and his growing family, and that he’s constantly pushing back on assumptions that he can’t properly provide for all his kids.

“I’ve been villainized,” Cannon added. “I hear all the time: ‘You can’t be present for all those children.’ So therefore I get this deadbeat-dad title.”

He continued: “It’s not about what I do for you or what I say to you, it’s about how you feel when I’m with you. If you feel loved when you see your dad, that’s what’s gonna resonate.”

The interview comes after the Wild ‘n Out star shut down Six Flags earlier this month to celebrate the 12th birthday of his twins, Monroe and Moroccan — whom he shares with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.

With 50 Cent‘s “In Da Club” playing in the background, a video of the party shows his two children smiling alongside their closest family and friends. “You see it,” Cannon says, pointing at a hoodie adorned with the faces of his two children.

“Roc and Roe’s 12th, [we] shutting down magic mountain. Six Flags, doing what big 12 year olds do. The big 12, let’s go!” he continued in the video.

“Happy 12th Birthday to my first borns Roc & Roe!” he wrote in the post’s caption.”Daddy loves y’all forever!”

Despite the fatherly love, Cannon did make headlines earlier this month after he went on Howard Stern’s radio show and struggled to remember all of his children’s names.

Those names include Moroccan, Monroe, Golden, Powerful Queen, Zion, Zillion, Legendary, Onyx, Rise, Beautiful, Halo, and the late Zen who passed away at five months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

    1. They need stop all the hatin’. Nick arguably one of the most responsible father’s in entertainment. It’s good to see he not letting live rent free in his head coz that’s where they wanna be.

      1. Um…like you’re with him. It looks like he’s there for them. You damn hypocritical critics. God forbid he wasn’t providing for them, bc that would give you more ammo to go at him as a negligent dad. If he provides, you bitch he’s not with them. If he doesn’t, he’s a deadbeat. Go seek counseling. You obviously are miserable with your crappy life and want to bish on anything. Your generation is the worst.
