Nas & Wu-Tang Clan Extend N.Y. State Of Mind Tour Into 2023

Nas and the Wu-Tang Clan have announced they’ll be going back on the road for the next leg of their popular NY State of Mind Tour.

On Monday (February 27), the rappers dropped the news that their joint tour would get an extension in 2023. The tour will kick off once again on May 9 in Auckland, New Zealand, before the guys make the international trek and stop by several cities in Australia.

They will then take the tour to Europe by visiting Sweden, Denmark, Germany and more before heading back to the States. From there, Nas and Wu-Tang will hit up several cities in Tennessee, Florida, Nevada and California, to name a few.

Most notably, the tour will make its way to Brooklyn, New York, on September 27, which is a delight for fans in the Big Apple as many complained that Nas and the Wu didn’t perform in their hometown on the first leg last year.

Fans can purchase tickets for the second leg on March 3 at 9:00 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster. Live Nation will also be offering pre-sale access on March 2.

The tour’s first leg was filled with surprising moments, such as LL COOL J, Jadakiss and Mary J. Blige popping out at the stop in Los Angeles. LL COOL J took to Instagram along with his Rock The Bells page showing behind-the-scenes footage of the concert and the action going down on stage, such as him performing his verse on the single “4,3,2,1.”

Mary J. Blige showed up to perform the 1995 Grammy Award-winning single “All I Need” with Method Man, while Jadakiss reportedly popped up during Nas’ set. Fans were worried about friction within the Wu when Method Man was noticeably absent from the first couple of stops on the tour.

Meth took to his social media with a video of him explaining he couldn’t be on tour because of film obligations, but he did shock fans when he showed up at the New Jersey stop alongside Redman to perform an explosive set with his Wu-Tang brothers.
