Nas has been dishing out magical rhymes for decades but now he’s the one being wowed by the wild tricks of a real-life magician.

Magician Eric Blackwell made an appearance at a recent party in celebration of Nas and Hit-Boy‘s Magic 2 album, and he performed a crazy trick that had the guests in awe.

The Chicago-bred magician somehow made a permanent marker “X” drawing on his hand go from himself to Nas’ palm with the snap of a finger.

“Watch the X. If I were to take the perma-ink off my hand. One, two, three — we’re all here for a reason,” he said before Nas showed his hand somehow with the X on it after having his fists clenched for the duration of the trick.

With the crowd stunned at what they witnessed, a shocked Nas had to take a step back and walk away while puffing on his cigar wondering how that just happened. “@Nas face was like naaaaaaah Then immediately mindblow,” a fan wrote in the magician’s comments.

Another person added a possible suggestion for the clip’s soundtrack: “Gotta put the Made You Look song to this video!”

Nas and Hit-Boy have been keeping the magic going by cooking up their fifth collaborative project, Magic 2, which arrived last Friday (July 21).

The Queensbridge legend took to Twitter shortly after the album’s arrival to reflect on the “best year” of his life.

“I’m happy to be around making new music because I love it,” he said. “Having the best year of my life. I caught the Holy Spirit and I’m grateful to be giving it all to the world. Magic 2.”

The first of the pair’s collaborative efforts, King’s Disease — which was released in August 2020 — bagged Nas his first-ever Grammy win for Best Rap Album.

The dynamic duo then returned a year later to release King’s Disease II in August 2021, with Magic arriving just a few months later in December 2021. King’s Disease III was released the following year in November 2022.

Meanwhile, Nas has received lofty praise from basketball legend Magic Johnson after naming a track on Magic 2 after him.

On Saturday (July 22), Magic took to Twitter where he dubbed Nasty Nas a “hell of a businessman,” before waxing poetic about what an honor it was to be recognized for his business acumen.
