Mixtape Release Dates: Chief Keef, Childish Gambino, Azealia Banks, Fred the Godson

Chief Keef is the rapper on everyone’s mouths as of late. While ripping up the stage in New York City’s famed SOB’s last week, Keef is making moves left and right. The most exciting? Announcing his upcoming mixtape Finally Rich. While the artist rose to fame with “I Don’t Like” (and then having Kanye West create his own remix), he’s out to prove he has more tricks up his sleeve. No date is set yet for the mixtape, his new Interscope Records deal and continuous Hip Hop cosigns should make for some good features and guest appearances.

We get a mid-week holiday this week, as July 4th falls on a Wednesday. The music won’t stop though, as Childish Gambino is releasing his mixtape. Most recently MC Glover dropped his mixtape single “One Up,” and even kicked a freestyle over Biggie’s “Ten Crack Commandments” while in the studio with Sway. Azealia Banks was scheduled to drop Fantasea on the 4th too, but she bumped her release a week. Finally, Fred the Godson was supposed to drop Gordo Frederico at the close of last month, but now that’s on ice. Stay tuned.
