Metro Boomin has sweetened his “BBL Drizzy Beat Giveway” against Drake — in addition to handing the winner a free beat, he will also be giving away a cash prize.

The St. Louis-born producer first announced the contest as he uploaded aninstrumental on SoundCloud on Sunday (May 5). A sped up sample of a woman singing “BBL Drizzy” plays throughout the beat, which fans have been adding vocals over since it went live.

In an additional post on Monday (May 6), Metro enhanced the incentive, which now includes a reward for the runner-up as well.

“update to the contest! winner gets $10k and a beat. runner up gets a beat as well #bbldrizzybeatgiveaway,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The contest was put together in response to Drake’s diss against Kendrick Lamar on “Family Matters,” on which the 6 God raps: “I mean it’s true a n-gga slimed me for my AP/ Just like how Metro n-gga slimed him for his main squeeze/ Out here beggin’ for attention, n-gga, say please.”

The “Superhero” producer also responded to Drizzy’s allegations on the songs about Metro’s friend sleeping with his girlfriend.

He tweeted: “the drum thing was laughable so I let it slide but what we not gon do is spread lies and have my loved ones involved. nobody ever hit my girl n-gga we grew up together [two crying laughter emojis, two crying emojis] she’s a real woman and not even in the industry but I guess #youwouldntknownunboutdatttt.”

He also shared receipts of his adversary trying to prevent “Like That” (the track from Future and Metro’s We Don’t Trust You that kicked off the drama back in March) from receiving any airplay.

Sharing an email to support the above claim, he wrote in the caption: “I’m lame but the first week after #LikeThat you tried to block it at radio. I been sitting on this email for a month now but was just sparing you. oh u aint #LikeThat record???”

He concluded his taunts by writing: “now go make another song telling more lies cause we both know you can’t tell everyone why I don’t fuck wit u […] that wouldn’t be a good look either for u so imma spare us both wit that.”
