Master P‘s son Mercy Miller is balling in his senior season and has broken his Notre Dame High School scoring record with a 68-point game.
Notre Dame lit up Oakwood 104-44 in Sherman Oaks, California on Monday night (December 11) and Miller scored more than his opponent just by himself. He even added 10 rebounds to his stat line to notch a double-double with an efficient 28 for 38 shooting performance.
“The Chosen one @kingkonginenergy @mercymiller,” Master P proudly wrote to Instagram earlier this week with the game’s highlights.

Mercy Miller is looking to go back-to-back while leading Notre Dame to another state championship season in California to cap off a decorated high school career before heading to play for coach Kelvin Sampson and the University of Houston next fall.
Miller was an integral part of the 2022-2023 state title run when he added 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the championship game.
“We had a shot to do something special, win a state championship,” Miller said to MaxPreps earlier this year after capturing his first state title. “We made that our goal and we got it done tonight.”
It’s looking like the possibility of a repeat is on the table with Notre Dame storming out of the gate to a 6-0 undefeated record and being seen as a powerhouse in the CIF Southern Section.
The 6’4″ guard improved his averages following the superstar performance to 36 points per game along with 11 rebounds a night. He is currently ranked as the 62nd-best player in his class in the country and a four-star recruit, per Rivals.
Miller and the Notre Dame Knights now have some time away from the gym to recuperate as they won’t be returning to the hardwood for a game until December 19.
Basketball runs deep in the Miller family’s blood. Master P’s son, Hercy Miller, is currently a junior guard playing in college for the Louisville Cardinals.
The New Orleans rap mogul himself had NBA hoop dreams with a pair of stints in training camp with the Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors in 1999 respectively.
At 29 years old, P even poured in eight points in a pre-season game with the Raptors but thought he wasn’t given a fair chance to make the team because of his celebrity status.
