Megan Thee Stallion has stepped into the void left by Tyler, The Creator after he pulled out of his headline slot at Lollapalooza.

Tyler was originally supposed to headline the festival on August 1, but he’s now been replaced by the Houston Hottie after he canceled his appearance.

The festival confirmed the switch on social media: “Hot girl summer in Chicago. Unfortunately, Tyler, The Creator will not be able to perform this year. See @theestallion headline Lolla on Thursday, August 1st.”

Tyler, The Creator had already announced that he wouldn’t be performing at Lollapalooza as well as Outside Lands in San Francisco, with both festivals scheduled a week apart.

“i hate saying this but,” he began on social media. “i have to cancel lollapalooza and outside lands. i made a commitment that i can no longer keep, and that bums me out knowing how excited folks were.

“that is not sexy at all. please please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person. love.”

The day before he announced the above cancellations, Tyler, The Creator made a surprise appearance at Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out” show in Inglewood during Mustard‘s stacked set.

During his explosive cameo, the Odd Future alum performed “WUSYANAME” and “EARFQUAKE” to an erupting audience.

Megan Thee Stallion’s headlining slot comes as she continues to take her Hot Girl Summer Tour around the globe.

The Texas native recently hit her hometown on the tour and gave fans a night to remember.

Megan Thee Stallion’s concert in Houston also saw her express her distaste for weed as fans began smoking in the arena.

The smell was so strong that it reached Megan Thee Stallion on stage, with the rapper not appearing to be particularly impressed.
