Tyler, The Creator has left thousands of fans across the United States disappointed as he will no longer be performing two of his headlining gigs scheduled for late summer.
On Thursday (June 20), the 33-year-old took to social media and announced that he won’t be able to fulfill the commitments he made to Lollapalooza in Chicago and Outside Lands in San Francisco. Both music festivals will take place one weekend apart in early August.

The day before he announced the above cancellations, Tyler made a surprise appearance at Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out” show in Inglewood during Mustard‘s stacked set.
During his explosive cameo, the Odd Future alum performed “WUSYANAME” and “EARFQUAKE” to an erupting audience.

The event was packed with countless surprises, the most notable of which was Black Hippy’s long awaited reunion. When K.Dot finally took the stage at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, he brought out Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and ScHoolboy Q to perform their songs and to assist him with his own.
The All-Star crew, however, didn’t perform any songs that featured all four of them.

Earlier this year, ScHoolboy made it clear that the group will never release an album together since each member is now on a separate path.
The flagship TDE artist appeared on an episode of The Danny Brown Show in early April, during which he set the record straight about getting back in the studio with his former squad.
“I’m not making no Black Hippy shit,” he said. “Hell no. I’ll never do that shit. ”
When the Detroit MC asked if he would consider doing it “for the culture,” Q snapped back: “Fuck the culture. Ain’t no culture. What is the culture? What is rap culture? What is the fucking rap culture?”

On a more serious note, he added: “I think we’re all kind of on our separate paths right now. Dot is doing his own thing with pgLang. I’m doing my own thing, curating a new artist. I did that part already, I gotta have this second part ’cause I got like 18 more albums to make.
“So it’s like I’m tryna figure out this phase before I get to the third phase. And Ab-Soul, he’s working, Jay Rock‘s working. I just don’t see where we’ll ever have time to.”
