Megan Thee Stallion has reportedly been targeted for a role where she will star alongside Ben Affleck in an upcoming film directed by the Safdie brothers.
According to What’s On Netflix, Megan has been eyed for the role of Affleck’s girlfriend, who is taking on the part of a washed-up MLB pitcher that gets hot and has a big-time comeback season.

The untitled flick reportedly centers around the world of sports memorabilia and stars Adam Sandler in a featured role, where he’ll play an agent based in 1990s New York City, as well as Steve Harvey.
Sander and the Josh and Benny Safdie previously teamed up for A24’s Uncut Gems in 2019, which starred Julia Fox, The Weeknd, LaKeith Stanfield and Kevin Garnett, among others.

The movie will exclusively call Netflix home and begin filming this summer. Although, a potential release date hasn’t yet been revealed.
Sandler provided a vague insight into his character while speaking to Variety on a red carpet last year: “I don’t know – we’ll see what happens. I know I’m going to have a different look than what I had. I know [the Safdie brothers] send me pictures of a look that I’m going to have and I can’t say I’m going to look that handsome in it.”
Back in late 2021, Megan signed an exclusive first-look deal with Netflix to create and executive produce new series and other projects.
“I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix,” she said in a statement at the time. “Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch.”
As an actor, Meg’s budding resumé includes credits in NBC’s crime comedy-drama Good Girl, STARZ’s P-Valley and the Disney+ Marvel Cinematic Universe series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Last year it was reported that the Houston Hottie would be starring in the upcoming musical comedy from award-winning production company A24, Fucking Identical Twins, which is described as a “subversive” remake of the classic 1998 movie The Parent Trap.
