Megan Thee Stallion is bringing her talents to the big screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Houston hottie has been tapped to star in an upcoming musical comedy from award-winning production company A24, marking her first foray into film.
Titled Fucking Identical Twins, the R-rated musical puts a “subversive” spin on the classic 1998 movie The Parent Trap. It follows two business adversaries who realize they’re identical twin brothers and decide to switch places in order to reunite their divorced parents and become a family again.
Megan will share the screen with comedy duo Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp, who wrote the script, as well as Nathan Lane (The Producers, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story), Megan Mullally (Will & Grace, Parks and Recreation) and Bowen Yang (SNL, Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens).
A24’s first movie musical, Fucking Identical Twins is currently in production with Borat director and former Seinfeld staff writer Larry Charles in the director’s chair. The company has previously worked with Travis Scott, Kid Cudi and André 3000.

Megan Thee Stallion made her acting debut in an episode of NBC’s Good Girls in 2020, playing a character named Onyx who she described as “super sassy” and a “rule-breaker.”
“I feel like Good Girls is perfect for me because I’m the hot girl and why would you not have the hot girl on Good Girls?” she said at the time.
Megan’s role in Fucking Identical Twins appears to be just the beginning of her ambitions in the world of film and television. Last December, the 27-year-old became the first rapper to sign an exclusive first-look deal with Netflix, with plans to create and executive produce content for the streaming giant.
