Meek Mill, Freeway and more were among a group of artists who gathered to support Gillie Da Kid as he continues to grieve the loss of his son, Devin Spady.

Gillie’s son, who rapped under the alias of YNG Cheese, was killed in a triple shooting in Philadelphia last week. Meek and Freeway pulled up to show Gillie some love and support as he deals with the parental horror of burying a child.

While Gillie’s cousin and Million Dollaz Worth of Game co-host Wallo thanked everyone for their support during these trying times.

Beanie Sigel and Mike Knox also made sure to pay their condolences to Gillie Da Kid on the loss of his child. Taking to his Instagram Story, Meek Mill voiced his hope that the tragic murder “will help bring the city back together.”

YNG Cheese was the victim of a triple shooting in Philadelphia on Thursday (July 20), on the 5800 block of Mascher Street in the Olney neighborhood at 8:24 p.m.

A 25-year-old man was shot once in the back and taken to the hospital by police, and was pronounced dead at 8:39 p.m.

A 28-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were also shot and taken to the hospital, with both men being placed in stable condition.

Police said one of the victims ran to a nearby home and 10 spent shell casings were found at the scene. No arrests were immediately made and no weapons were recovered.

Funeral services for YNG Cheese are expected to take place on Monday (July 24) as Spady is laid to rest.
