Master P was asked his thoughts on Snoop Dogg‘s son, Cordell Broadus, leaving the UCLA football team. Broadus quit the team before the beginning of his freshman football season this year because he was playing in order to try to make his father happy.
“If you’re doing that for somebody else then you shouldn’t do it,” Master P says to TMZ. “You gotta love it.”
The No Limit General used to play basketball and spent some time during different NBA preseasons with the Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors. His son, Romeo, played on scholarship for USC.
“When Romeo played, he played for himself,” Master P says. “He wanna be the best player he can be. If it’s not something you wanna do, then you don’t need to do it.”
The emcee continues by saying that his son could have made a career in the pros, but his status as a celebrity prevented that from happening.
“He loved it,” Master P says. “He’d been playing from a little kid. He’s been good. If he wasn’t Romeo, he’d probably be in the NBA right now.”

NONSENSE! Master P please stop it. Respect to what you have done for the culture during your reign. But now you are just reaching speaking whatever dumbness comes out of your mouth.
Oh I see, the NBA which makes more money off its players being stars didn’t want a “celebrity” even though he was good enough to be in the NBA. This level of foolishness is why Master P let an entire empire crumble to nothing. Sad to see.
