Masta Killa Evaluates Lil Wayne, Drake & Nicki Minaj

Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj represent a new face of Hip Hop crews. This look is much different than the classic crews such as the Wu-Tang Clan, but in an interview with AllHipHop.com, Masta Killa says he likes it.

“Artists that are out now have their own style of doing things,” the Wu-Tang member says, “but I love what they’re doing. Their world is a different style of hustling, but it’s dope. I like Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne’s chemistry and how they do their thing.”

The rapper says that he hasn’t heard the remix of Drake’s “Wu-Tang Forever” with the members of the group and he doesn’t know if the public will ever hear it, either.

“I can’t even tell you,” he says. “I think I’m one of the members who recorded on that remix, but I haven’t heard it since I recorded it. Sometimes the best thing to do is do it and keep it moving. I would love to hear it, but who knows.”

Drake’s latest project, If Youre Reading This Its Too Late, is slated to be available in physical copies April 21.

    1. Change article title to “Irrelevant Rapper Speaks On Rappers Who Are Out Here Making This Money Forreal”

    2. Wu Tang Clan and Drake is a bullshit combination. It’s like a gorilla and squirrel on a see saw. Drake had no strength to make a girly song with the name Wu Tang in, Masta Killa knows if that song ever dropped it would ruin the legacy forever.

    3. And Another one bites the dust! fk! and anybody but MK. Not MK! I don’t understand. Is MK oblivious? Bodysnatcher? I cannot believe the uncritical unwavering and surely undeserving full on support some of these characters today get from the supposed to be Elders of the game. Some of the shit that the receivers of his praise and admiration have said and done alone are barbaric and show snake mentality some would say. Maybe these are the signs of whats to come of chemtrails? Dementia? What a sad day when the ump makes a call like that. Blind as a fkn bat. Or maybe I’m taking his words out of context. Maybe this story isn’t real. Maybe its just bait to make me angry.

      1. Bro just because you took a composition course once in your life doesn’t give you full authority to use words that you don’t know. You sound like a fucking retard, homie.

    4. Another scary ass played out rapper who is afraid to tell the truth that Wayne, Nicki and Drake are garbage.

Seems like all these old cats are to intimidated to speak the truth. Whats next: RAKIM saying Drake is the best rapper ever.

Another example that rappers are bitches.

      1. No doubt. Just like Rock N Roll is dead. HipHop is also dead and been dead for a long time now. Pretty much all the music dropping nowadays is just POP music now. I remember back in the 90s when many different genres of music was poppin’ off such as Reggae/Dance Hall (Buju, Beenie Man, Super Cat, Mad Lion etc), R&B (Boyz II Men, Jodeci etc) and of course the incredible HipHop dropping at that time. None of these genres really exist anymore. Times have changed but not all for the better.

    5. I doubt it’s fear as much as is it courtesy and respect. That being said, how do you know whether he enjoys their music or not?
