Ma$e wants his fans to decide if he should attend Diddy‘s sex trafficking trial when it begins next week.
Speaking on his sports talk show, It Is What It Is, the former Bad Boy artist admitted he was thinking about going to the trial in New York.
He said: “I wanna put it out to the fans. I’ll let the fans vote on it unless you wanna vote on it. They’re asking me to come to the Diddy trial, You think I should go this week?”
His co-host Cam’ron jokingly replied: “It’s up to you, I don’t know your relationship.”
However, Ma$e did appear sincere in thinking about going to the trial of his former label boss: “I was trying to figure out a way I could go at least a day.”
Killa Cam then said that he would go if Ma$e did: “If you going, I’m going … Just me randomly going? Nah, I ain’t going by myself.”
Earlier this year, Ma$e extended something of an olive branch to Diddy, who he has had a largely contentious relationship with over the years.
“I mean, if my name was on the list, I’d go visit Puff,” he said shortly after attending the funeral of Biggie’s mom, Voletta Wallace. “I would visit him, make sure he was good. These are the times when you need people to check up and make sure you’re good.
“Not that I condone any thing that he allegedly did. Until they prove it, you want to make sure that you don’t be like one of those people that [condemns] somebody [who] did good for you. He didn’t do all bad, he did some good. He definitely did some good.”
Ma$e added: “I ain’t talking about the tape stuff and all of that; I’m talking about just the musical side, giving me an opportunity. I think as a person of class you definitely got to show up and sit somewhere in the court if they let you.”
Cam then put Murda in the hot seat and asked if he thinks Diddy is innocent, to which he replied: “I don’t know.”
