On Sunday (November 5), Luda pulled up to the show and the crowd went nuts for the live performance of the 2004 song, and he shared some kind words for Usher upon wrapping.

Usher is coming off a star-studded October, hosting the likes of Dr. Dre, Doja Cat, Summer Walker, Jessica Alba, and Jennifer Lopez at his ‘My Way’ show. But Nas may have topped them all. On October 20, the rap icon performed several songs during Usher’s set, including “You Owe Me” and “If I Ruled the World (Imagine That).”

“Your show was immaculate!” Nas commented afterwards on Instagram. “I had a great time!”

Usher’s residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM began in July 2023 and continues through December 2. Other celebrity visitors during the run have included Ashanti, Tiffany Haddish, Keke Palmer, and Saweetie.

Just a few months after Usher’s Vegas residency wraps up, he will be back in the city for an even bigger event — performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The news was announced last month by the NFL and Apple Music, the halftime show’s presenting partner, with the R&B legend himself sharing a statement expressing his excitement for the performance of a lifetime.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list,” he said. “I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before. Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”

JAY-Z — who’s helping to produce the halftime show in his role as the NFL’s live music entertainment strategist — also spoke about Usher’s forthcoming performance, which will be held on February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas.

“Usher is the ultimate artist and showman,” Hov said. “Ever since his debut at the age of 15, he’s been charting his own unique course. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul. His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can’t wait to see the magic.”
