Luci J returns with another dash of optimism in his music video for his latest single, “Ngiti” (Smile), off his newly released five-track Do By Heart mixtape.
The Mico Santos-directed video follows the Filipino rapper and member of rap collective 1096 Gang and his friends as they go on a road trip and hang out. With a homemade DIY charm to the visual, the track embodies the artist’s easygoing nature and tenacious optimism. “Ngiti ka lang / Ayos lang yan,” (Just smile / It’s okay), LUCI J sing-raps, spreading his infectious optimism as he invites viewers to navigate life with ease the best they can.
