Lor Scoota’s Manager Killed 3 Weeks After Baltimore Rapper

The senseless death of Lor Scoota, the up-and-coming Baltimore rapper who was killed as he was ironically leaving from a peace rally, hasn’t offered any life lessons for the community still reeling from his murder.

If anything, it’s only led to more violence.

Lor Scoota’s manager and YBS Records CEO Trayvon Lee, was shot to death yesterday, July 6, in Druid Park’s Liberty Square neighborhood where he resided. Police tell The Baltimore Sun the 24-year-old budding mogul was shot in his upper body and taken to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

According to CBS Local, investigators believe the suspect fled the scene in a green Nissan Quest van but different offer any more info outside of that.

Lee was also the brother of dirt bike rider and Meek Mill-affiliate, Chino Braxton, who eulogized his kin with a numbing message on social media where he relived his nightmarish start to 2016, which almost resulted in his own murder by way of drive-by.

“I went through so much this year it’s crazy,” he wrote. “I was shot in my head 2times … then we lose ya artist @scootaupnext … Then a week later we lost you.”

He continued, “The city I did so much for an put it all behind had betrayed me bro,” Braxton wrote. “They took you.”

Hundreds of mourners took to the streets to pay their respects to Lor Scoota, who was buried last week. No suspects have been arrested in connection with his murder.

And now, there will be another funeral. Police are asking anyone with formation on either homicides to contact investigators at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

    1. It’s time to start self-reflecting. Your music does NOTHING but glorify violence. You don’t see any other genre of music artists gunning each other down like this. No coincidence that they bring this type of sh*t on themselves. A life lost is a horrible thing but damn do they need to stop acting clueless as to why this type of sh*t is happening on a daily basis.

      1. But it doesn’t help when record companies, the media and what not promote this kind of music. They dictate that it’s hot, encourage this senseless behavior and what not..

    3. As always top notch journalism from DX… The article reads “but different offer any more info outside of that.” I believe it should have said “didn’t” instead of “different”. You guys are too smart to not proofread your articles.
