Logic has created quite the reputation for showing love to his fans in a real way, but could his latest effort to do a good deed for a bystander done more harm than good?

On Saturday (May 27), the DMV rapper shared a clip via Instagram, in which he threw a water bottle — stuffed with $30 cash — out of a building window to a fan who couldn’t get into his bank to withdraw cash for parking. Only, the bottle didn’t land in the safest place as it landed directly in the street.

“This fan said he needed money but he couldn’t get in the bank to pay for it,” explained Logic as he stuffed bills into a Fiji water bottle. “So, I’m giving him $30 to pay for parking for next door for our show tonight.”

“Hey where are you?” the Maryland native continued in an attempt to locate the fan on the sidewalk below him, before mistakenly tossing the bottle into oncoming traffic. “Here you go. Enjoy the show!” he concluded.

“Appreciate it,” the fan responded as he stepped into the street to scoop the bottle.

“I probably could’ve thrown that in a safer spot lol,” Logic admitted in the caption of his post.

That sentiment was felt by his fans who joked that the recipient could have been struck by a vehicle.

“Logic tryna lead him to get struck by a car [laughing emoji],” wrote one user. “Walk into traffic get that bottle lol,” joked another fan.

“At least you didn’t throw it behind those boards so he wouldn’t have to climb [laughing emoji],” added another user.

Meanwhile, others in the comments section praised the “Gang Related” lyricist for always looking out for his fans, writing, “Cause that’s what heroes do.”

“Logic for the people!,” added another fan. “This is why you’re the goat,” declared one more user.

The news comes shortly after Logic threw a bone to another fan back in March when he helped him keep a roof over his head.

The fan, who reached out to Logic on TikTok, initially asked for free tickets to one of his shows while explaining he was struggling to pay his rent. But he got much more in return.

“Logic I’m broke and about to move out my place I wanna see you in concert though,” he said.

“Fuck the tickets; can I help you with your rent?” he replied. “My people gonna hit you up. I’ma help you out a little bit. We gonna send you something slight, you know what I’m saying? Help you out, you know what I mean? Can’t have you out here on the streets.”
