LL Cool J, T.I. and Hugh Jackman performed “Music Man” at last night’s Tony Awards.
The event’s inclusion of Rap was celebrated by T.I. in an Instagram post the rapper made.
“Another highlight…. 1st hip-hop performance on the #Tonys wit da og @LLCoolJ & everybody’s fav X-Man @theHughJackman #GodisGreat #LifeisGood #NoMatterWhat #Hustlegangovererrrrthang,” T.I. says in the post’s caption.
Before the performance, Hugh Jackman spoke about “Music Man” and performed his raps. He said that this may have been the first Rap song ever. T.I. and LL Cool J join the actor on stage soon after.
