LL COOL J and Ice T have teamed up for a new show about Hip Hop memorabilia — and the rap vets couldn’t be more thrilled.

Deadline reported that Hip Hop Treasures — which will premiere on August 12 on A&E — features the two MCs-turned-TV mainstays on the hunt for some of the genre’s best-known — and best-loved — memorabilia.

“Led by LL COOL J and Ice T alongside field collectors and museum curators, the team tells the story of some of Hip Hop’s greatest artists and the items they made famous such as The Notorious B.I.G.’s iconic jersey from the “Juicy” video, Flavor Flav’s clocks, DMX’s Aaliyah car, and more,” reads the logline of the show. “This exclusive partnership between A&E, Pulse Films, LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells and The Universal Hip Hop Museum honors these music legends and brings their items back to the birthplace of the culture, The Bronx.”

While Ice T has made quite the name for himself as Odafin “Fin” Tutuola on Law & Order: SVU, LL COOL J has recently revived his Sam Hanna character on NCIS: Hawai’i after playing the iconic character on NCIS: Los Angeles for more than a decade.

But while Uncle L fans have been thrilled to see him on the small screen, they recently expressed their frustrations when he cancelled some long-awaited F.O.R.C.E. Live tour dates — with seemingly no rescheduling available on certain dates.

In an Instagram video posted last Friday (July 16), the legendary rapper explained that the reason he rescheduled some of the dates on the first leg of the tour is because he wanted to give his fans an “unforgettable” experience.

“I have to give my fans an experience that is unforgettable,” he wrote in the caption. “I want to make sure everything is done right, and in order to do that, I had to change some things up. The updated tour dates are now live. Link in Bio to check it out. I’ll see you there. More to come.”

A number of fans weren’t too thrilled with Uncle L’s decision to reschedule the dates, and some were left confused as they were met with conflicting information when they sought out the new dates online.

“Yea but Barclays ain’t saying rescheduled they saying it’s straight up cancelled…,” wrote one fan, referring to the June 27 date at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center event.

According to Ticketmaster’s official website for the Barclays Center event, all refunds “will be processed to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, once funds are received from the Event Organizer, which is usually completed within 30 days. If the Event Organizer is offering a credit option, it will be visible within the Event Details of your order, which can be found in your Ticketmaster account.”

This same message is displayed for the June 28 event at the Newark, NJ Prudential Center; the July 6 event at the Hollywood, FL Hard Rock Live; the August 19 event at the St. Louis, MO Enterprise Center; the August 20 event at the Indianapolis, IN Gainbridge Fieldhouse; and the August 23 event at the New Orleans, LA Smoothie King Center.
