In a TikTok video uploaded to Lizzo’s account titled “Don’t Drink & DM,” the Grammy Award-winning artist admitted she slid into Evans’ Instagram messages after a little bit too much to drink and maybeeeeee flirted with him.
“The reason I’m upset about this one is because I know I’m not going to be able to marry him,” she said. “And honestly, it hurts me to the core, because damn, papa, he a rare breed! No comparing!”

On Sunday (April 18), the “Truth Hurts” chanteuse updated her 14.6 million TikTok followers and revealed Evans was nothing but kind about her late-night faux pas. After following her back on Instagram, he wrote, “No shame in a drunk DM. God knows I’ve done worse on this app.”
