Lil Yachty and Drake‘s bromance has been in the news a lot over the past year, and a joint album from the pair apparently isn’t out of the realm of possibility, according to Boat.

The “One Night” rapper was asked about the idea of a joint album with Drizzy in a new vlog with Our Generation Music posted on Tuesday (October 25), as the pair are frequently together.

Revealing they’d discussed it in the past, Lil Yachty said something may happen after Drake returns from his previously-announced hiatus from music.

“Yea, we talked about it before,” Yachty said. “It would be nice, right? I think he gon’ take a little second to breathe. I’ma take next year and figure out my situation and you know, we’ll look into it in the future. He gon’ take a break, I’m gon’ press the gas. And then after that, we can see what’s up.”

Just earlier this month, Drake surprised Lil Yachty fans when the Atlanta rapper rolled through Toronto with his Field Trip Tour.

“Aye Boat,” Drake said on a mic from the balcony section. “I know you been going crazy tonight. First of all, I just wanna say, y’all make some noise for one of my best friends in the muthafuckin’ world.

“You been going crazy tonight. I haven’t been home in four months, so you take yourself a little break. I’ma try some shit out.”

From the comfort of the VIP section, Drake then proceeded to perform his “Meltdown” collaboration from Travis Scott‘s UTOPIA, which sent the hometown crowd into a frenzy.

The “Poland” rapper previously chopped it up with Complex about how he and Drake differ in terms of how they approach life and music.

“Me and him are kind of different when it comes to lifestyle,” Yachty said. “We’re really similar as people, but as far as life, we’re very different. I don’t go out, he loves to go out, he loves to host people, he loves to party and I don’t like people that much.”

He continued: “And I record every day all day, where he kind of is very selective on his recording days as he has more of a life than I do. And, he is much more into actually living life as to where I am literally trying to record music every day.

Lil Yachty also appears on Drake’s recentlyreleased For All the Dogs on “Another Late Night,” with the Cole Bennett-directed video dropping earlier this month.
