Lil Wayne has been steadfast in avoiding fast food for two decades, and he’s proved this is still the case while on the road for the Welcome To Tha Carter Tour.

On Monday (May 1), Weezy checked in with fans on Instagram while heading to Texas, sharing a video of him with his Young Money affiliates as they stopped their tour buses to have his chef cook him up a fresh meal.

“We had pulled over to eat,” he began. “You know I don’t eat fast food so we pulled over to cook and shit. So we gotta watch the car. See, we pulled over and we cook. Eat healthy young men [and] young women.”

Busta Rhymes, Gudda Gudda and Mellow Rackz showed love in his comment section, as did UFC fighter Colby Covington, who chimed in to emphasize Weezy’s plea about staying clear of eating fast food.

“Listen to the [GOAT] to get your health right #NoFastFood,” he wrote.

Earlier this year, Wayne revealed that his mother, who is also a chef, convinced him to have a chef with him on the road since he was 19 to maintain a healthy diet, which has paid dividends decades later.

Tunechi told Zane Lowe in February that he doesn’t have any sort of gym routine or workout plan to stay in shape.

“When I was 19 I moved to Miami and my mom is a chef and she was very happy for the move because New Orleans is crazy,” Lil Wayne said. “One thing she really wanted me to do was get a personal chef. So therefore you’re not just eating anything.”

“So from the age of 19 to now, I’ve always had a personal chef,” he continued. “I haven’t eaten any fast food forever. I don’t know what Mcdonald’s smell like. Only gyms I know is Jim Jones. I can’t lift a weight. I don’t do no workout.”
