The rapper’s 28-city tour kicked off April 4 at The Fillmore in Minneapolis. During his stop in Tornoto, Drake opened up the show with an impromptu performance of some of his greatest hits.

Weezy isn’t the only rapper to disappoint his fans lately. His Young Money protege, Drake got blasted by fans on social media for cutting the live feed of his 2023 Lollapalooza show in Argentina moments before he performed.

Last month, according to Tracklist, Drake cancelled the broadcast moments before it started and performed for 40 minutes.

According to fans, those who are headlining performers usually perform for an average of 90 minutes. Many of Drake’s fans who were either at home or in-person for the festival took to Twitter to voice their disdain regarding the ordeal.

“The people of #Lollapalooza would have to judge Drake since he is a headliner and has less time than someone who plays earlier,” one user began. “In other words, everyone is on stage for 1 hour and Drake himself, who is the headliner, only 45 minutes? I have never seen anything like this in my life.”

Another added: “Apparently #Drake @drake came to give us a hard time, it started late and finished 30 minutes early, from what everyone told me.”
