Lil Wayne has offered his prediction on the upcoming fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
Appearing on sports talk show Undisputed, Weezy was asked who he thought would win the heavyweight contest between the boxing legend and YouTube star.
“If it’s a real fight, I have Mike Tyson and I believe it’s a disrespectful question,” he said. “I don’t care if he was 85. You saw the clips — if one of them workout punches hit anybody, you done.”

Lil Wayne’s view of the fight differs to that of his “Touch It or Not” collaborator Cam’ron, who is backing Jake Paul to pull off an upset.
Speaking on It Is What It Is earlier this year, Cam said: “Mike is my man [but] this is my prediction for the fight: if Mike don’t get him out of there in five rounds, then I believe that Jake Paul’s gonna win the fight.”
Co-host Ma$e then joked: “Killa, I hope you don’t see Mike. Mike gonna want to talk to you about that.”
In a twist of fate, the Dipset rapper ran into Tyson at an airport shortly afterwards.
Ma$e delivered a funny monologue about the incident on their aforementioned sports show.
“Cam is on his way here, he’s probably not gonna make this show,” he said. “He was calling me while he was getting on this flight and he had some sad news. Mike Tyson, the guy he was running his mouth about, was standing right behind him when I saw him on FaceTime.”
While doing an impression of Tyson, the former Bad Boy rapper continued: “I think Mike was whispering too him, ‘Cam, I need to talk to you.’ And then Cam say he gonna call me back but he never called me back.
“So for everybody watching this, pray for Cam right now. I’m praying for Cam, you pray for Cam that Mike Tyson did not take his comments seriously. This is what happens when you run your mouth. How ironic was it that Mike Tyson was there right behind him?”
The hotly anticipated fight, which sees the 58-year-old Tyson take on the 27-year-old Paul in a professional bout, is set to take place on July 20 in Texas and will be contested over eight two-minute rounds.
It will be Tyson’s first professional contest since his 2005 loss to Kevin McBride, though he did compete in an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.

I’m going all-in on the 27 year old versus the 57 year old. Yall are delusional. It’s a big difference between hitting pads and fighting rounds. You say Jake can’t take a Tyson punch. I say Tyson hasn’t been able to take a punch in 20 years. Father Time is undefeated. Paul is a decent fighter but he’s younger, currently stronger (yes), currently more durable, currently better conditioned athlete than 57 year old Mike Tyson.

I’m 36 years old and I watched Mike in ppv with my dad 30 years ago. 30 YEARS AGO. People that actually believe Tyson is going to win are casual idiots. Mike lost to Kevin McBride by his corner throwing in the towel IN 2005. 2005! Mike got knocked out by Daniel Williams in 2004!
