Dedication 2 has long been rumored to be released on streaming services though this has yet to happen.
Last year, DJ Drama â who hosted the mixtape under his Gangsta Grillz banner â said it would hit platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music sometime in 2023.

According to Drama, Dedication 2âs bevy of samples and borrowed music has made it difficult to get the project cleared, but he promised it would be available on major platforms soon.
âIt wasnât original music, so it couldnât go on streaming platforms, and I just feel like today, in 2023, if we going to do it, letâs do it, and it might take a little bit of time and be done,â the DJ said on the Rap Radar Podcast.
âWe are dropping Dedication 2 on streaming platforms this year, and itâs gonna have some new music along with it. Thatâs pretty exciting.â
With his talk of wanting to make more history, Lil Wayne will no doubt fuel excitement for Tha Carter VI which he has been teasing for a while.
