Lil Wayne, Juvenile, B.G. and Turk are officially reuniting for a new Hot Boys album.
The news was broken by Juvenile over the weekend, who also confirmed that the former Cash Money group, along with Mannie Fresh, will perform with Birdman at Essence Fest in New Orleans in July.

“Hot Boys is back together, man,” he said on Instagram Live. “Turk gonna be with me tonight, I’m gonna be with B.G. next week. Me, Wayne, Turk and B.G., all of us gonna be on stage in New Orleans with Mannie Fresh and Birdman. And we already started working on the Hot Boys album.”

A Hot Boys reunion has long been teased by its various members, despite the apparent issues between Lil Wayne and B.G. since the latter was released from prison in September.
Shortly after arriving home, B.G. dissed Wayne on the song “Gangstafied,” rapping: “My n-gga Boosie went home and my dawg was steady blowing/ My n-gga Weezy steady touring but he’s bitch and it’s showing/ I’m still a living legend, don’t act like you didn’t know it,”

B.G. later showed love to the Young Money leader while attempting to explain his lyrics, chalking them up to a “complicated” relationship with his Hot Boys comrade.
“Y’all don’t understand what the fuck be going on, you know what I’m saying?” he said on Instagram Live. “I tell a n-gga I love him and call him a bitch all in the same sentence. It’s family business, man.

“Shout out to my little brother Weezy. I spoke to my little brother last night. Shout out to shorty, man. Still my little bro. Love my little bro. This shit be complicated.”
Despite this, B.G. and Juvenile have both promised that a Hot Boys reunion tour, which was first floated by Birdman last year, is definitely happening.
Wayne also discussed the plans during an appearance on YG’s 4HUNNID Podcast in February, revealing that logistical issues surrounding B.G.’s post-release conditions was the only holdup.
“We’ve spoken about it a few times but, you know, they have situations. Like B.G. just coming home so he gotta figure out: can he tour? Can he travel? And things like that,” he said.

As for the Hot Boys’ upcoming performance in their hometown of New Orleans, Essence Fest announced the news earlier this month and billed it as a 30-year celebration of Cash Money Records, headlined by Birdman.

While a full lineup has yet to be revealed, the label has spawned a host of other big names who could grace the stage including Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga.
