Lil Uzi Vert‘s long-awaited project Pink Tape hasn’t even been out for a week and they’re already looking to give fans even more music.
After telling fans they were going to “drop a whole ‘nother album” instead of a deluxe version of their latest LP, Uzi is seemingly making good on their promise.

“Get this 2 number one and I will drop the album y’all really looking for,” Lil Uzi Vert wrote alongside a photo of the album’s cover on their Instagram Story on Tuesday (July 4).
Then taking it a step further, Uzi updated their bio to add “Luv is rage 3” – seemingly another hint at what’s to come next from the Philly rapper.
Early projections suggest Uzi’s Pink Tape will earn between 220,000 and 250,000 equivalent album units in its first week, enough to secure a No. 1 debut on the chart. This means it’s slated to become the first Hip Hop album to top the Billboard 200 this year – and also that fans will get another album out of them.
Luv is Rage 3 would be the sequel to Lil Uzi Vert’s debut studio album Luv is Rage 2, which arrived nearly six years ago in August 2017. The effort debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 135,000 album-equivalent units and went on to be certified 2x platinum by the RIAA.

They followed it up with 2020’s Eternal Atake three years later, and then another three years later, fans got Pink Tape. If Luv is Rage 3 comes in the near future, it’s certainly a welcome change of pace for fans of the Philadelphia music maker.
In other news, Nicki Minaj recently opened up about the grueling process to complete Pink Tape track “Endless Fashion” – which debuted at No. 6 on the US Spotify charts with 1.617 million streams. Shortly after the album’s arrival, Nicki took to Twitter to reveal that she spent 10 hours writing her guest verse before turning it in at the last minute.
She added that during this process, she had to continually ask Uzi for more time while assuring them that she’d deliver before the cut-off point.
“Girl I started @ 8am & finished like 5pm. When I tell you I was exhausted by the time I was done. Lol. B/c I was rushing to get it in on time,” she wrote in response to Uzi’s girlfriend, JT, who had applauded her for “how fast you turned your verse in.”
