Lil Uzi Vert has announced his new album Eternal Atake 2 by unveiling its eerie cover art and cinematic trailer.

The artwork, released on Wednesday (October 23), depicts a group of purple women with their eyes lit up pink, à la Five Nights at Freddy’s, while the accompanying trailer explains the story behind the sci-fi image.

The one-minute and 12-second clip opens with a shot of Earth and states that “on March 6, 2020, Lil Uzi Vert mysteriously vanished. While it was never confirmed what happened that day, the faithful believed it to be the fulfillment of a long awaited prophecy.”

The video then cuts to a UFO that teleports through an Eternal Atake 2 logo and lands on a futuristic space station, where Uzi has their memory wiped by purple-eyed aliens.

The trailer ends by saying Eternal Atake 2, which will serve as the sequel to his chart-topping 2020 effort, is “coming soon.”

This appears to be sooner than fans might have expected as the album is set to arrive on November 1, according to its pre-release listing on Apple Music.

Lil Uzi Vert has already dropped what appears to be the first song from Eternal Atake 2, “Uzi the Earthling! (TV Show Theme).”

Released earlier on Wednesday, the bizarre 30-second track only features vocals from a female singer who performs the lyrics: “Here’s the story of a guy named Uzi / Who’s known for his diamonds and his style / From the streets to the stage, boy is busy / Making music that’ll make you smile / Little Uzi Vert, he’s the one to see / Bringing joy to you and me.”

The song is also in the style of an old-fashioned TV theme song.

It’s unclear if an actual TV show is in the works to accompany Eternal Atake 2.

The Philadelphia rapper previously announced that they would retire from music following the release of Luv Is Rage 3, which many assumed would be their next album.

But in August, Uzi made a surprise change of plans by revealing that Eternal Atake 2 was in the works during a chat with social media personality Ben Weiss.

The “XO TOUR Llif3” hitmaker had said the year before that Luv Is Rage 3 would be their final full-length effort before they went on to live a “normal life.”

Luv Is Rage 3 will be my last album,” Uzi said during a show in Chicago, much to the crowd’s disappointment. “No, relax. It’s okay […] After Luv Is Rage 3, I guess I will go on another tour for Luv Is Rage 3. But after that, I wanna try to live a normal life.”
