Lil Uzi Vert led the Philadelphia Eagles out of the tunnel ahead of the NFC Championship Game last month where they dominated the San Francisco 49ers and advanced to the Super Bowl.
Superstar wide receiver A.J. Brown recently joined theRaw Room podcast and recalled his short yet hilarious encounter with the Philly rap phenom in the locker room pregame.

“That’s a funny dude,” Brown said of Uzi. “He cool though. He a funny guy, man. I met him. I’m in the training room right before the game and Uzi come in there, ‘What’s up, A.J.?’
“I’m like, ‘What’s up, Uzi?’ He was like, ‘Nothing, I just woke up.’ I’m like, ‘What? Oh word, I heard you been in Paris.’ He was like, ‘I just came from out there, you going out there anytime soon? I’m like, ‘Probably after the season.’ I’m just trying to create convo.

Brown continued: “He really just cut the whole end of the conversation. He wnrt like, ‘Well, good talking to you, A.J.’ And walked out. He walking through the walking room and he like this tall.”
Uzi’s “Just Wanna Rock” became an anthem for the Eagles team as they tore through the NFC on their way to the Super Bowl and Brown admitted that the Philly rapper had them hyped up to play.
“He got the players turned up though,” the All-Pro receiver continued. “He cool though. He’s a rockstar. He get the city turnt.”
The Eagles throttled the Niners 31-7 to capture the NFC Championship on January 29 before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in heartbreaking fashion 38-35 earlier this month at Super Bowl LVII in Arizona.
DJ Drama stirred up some controversy last month when he claimed that Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock” replaced Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” as the official anthem of Philadelphia.
“I think it’s fair to say that ‘I Just Wanna Rock’ has replaced — with all due respect — ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ as the new anthem of Philadelphia, as the new anthem of the Philadelphia Eagles this year,” Drama stated. “I’m looking forward to hearing that song many, many times [throughout] Super Bowl weekend.”
