Lil Pump has been accused of committed a fashionable offense by allegedly copying Lil Uzi Vert’s style with his new look.
On Mother’s Day, which was Sunday (May 14), the “I Love It” rapper posted a picture on Instagram of him with straightened jet black hair and one half of his face being covered by it. He also wore all black attire.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful moms out there [pink heart emoji],” he wrote in his caption.
Once RapTV reposted the picture on Instagram, many IG users went in on Pump’s eccentric new look, comparing it to Uzi’s emo-inspired appearance.

“Bro think he uzi,” one person wrote, someone else said: “He’s been tryna copy uzi for 6 damn years now.”
Another person added: “He’s officially gone past the point of no return.”
Although many people feel as if Lil Pump is biting Lil Uzi Vet’s style, Uzi recently left fans divided after introducing their new alter-ego, Leslie, back in April.
The Philly rapper unveiled their new look and moniker on Instagram while touring in Thailand.

In the pictures, Baby Pluto can be seen wearing a “Pink Tape” T-shirt, which is the name of their upcoming album.
Fans took to the comments section of Lil Uzi Vert’s post to share their thoughts on their new alter-ego, with many people mocking their new look.

“N-gga looking like somebody emo auntie,” one fan wrote, while another joked: “Uzi looking like he just joined panic at the disco.”
“I thought that was someone’s grandmother,” another commenter quipped.
Not everyone was turned off by Uzi’s new look, though. “Stop telling folks to be normal.. normal is Boring if this is his personality let it be,” one fan wrote in defense of his individuality.
Meanwhile, Lil Pump told Complex last month for all the criticism he’s faced in his career, he doesn’t get an ounce of hate in real life.

“More people love me than hate me,” Pump said. “And I’ma say this right now: everybody who talks shit in my comments – every single body – I have never to this day seen one person walk up to me and say that shit to my face. Everything is on the internet. Nobody has ever walked up to my face and said nothing crazy. So this shit’s not even real. It’s fake to me.”
He continued: “I see thousands of comments, everybody talking shit. But you see me in person, the first thing everybody does, ‘Oh Pump, let me get a picture!’ Like, it’s all love. They don’t ever say crazy shit to my face. But it is what it is. I’m just making music to have fun. And if I piss you off, I piss you off. Oh well.”
