Lil Pump has taken credit for Elon Musk becoming the world’s richest man again, and he demands compensation.
The “Gucci Gang” rapper, known for his trolling ways on social media, took to Instagram to take credit for Musk’s resurgent net worth, which at the time of his video was over $180 billion.

However, the business magnate’s reign at the top was short-lived as he was dethroned by LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault just 48 hours later after losing $2 billion thanks to a slide in Tesla share prices.
“Everybody talking about how Elon Musk is the richest man in the world again,” Pump said. “You know why? Because on February 24 I dropped ‘Tesla’ and that same day the stocks went up 6 percent, and two days later it went up 11 percent. So Elon Musk, I love you, send me five Teslas.”
Lil Pump dropped off his Tesla collab project with Smokepurpp on February 24. The latter echoed Pump’s sentiment in the comments section, writing: “Facts I want mine green @lilpump , ELON WYA.”
The new tape comes after Pump’s music journey briefly hit a snag last November when he told his followers that his forthcoming solo album Lil Pump 2 had fallen into a lake.

“Guys I lost my hard-drive to LP2. I lost it in the middle of a lake,” he said in an Instagram Live clip. “I can’t find it. Can you please help me find it? Please help me. Please!”
Lil Pump 2 will serve as the official sequel to his 2017 debut Lil Pump, which spawned the rapper’s breakout 5x platinum hit “Gucci Gang.” The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 45,000 first-week units, and was eventually certified gold.

“[Lil Pump 2] is dropping in August around my birthday,” Pump previously said in an interview with Inked Magazine.“It’s about to be crazy. This is gonna be a masterpiece.”
The rapper’s birthday was on August 17, but the date came and went with no release.
Lil Pump has since spent the majority of 2023 getting in shape, and has flexed his fitness progress on multiple occasions. On February 1, the Florida native shared before and after photos of himself, and could be seen sporting a leaner, more athletic physique — with his protruding “lean gut” now a thing of the past.
“Looking good feeling better working out is my new addiction should I go keep going?” he wrote in the caption.

The rapper’s health and wellness journey began back in 2019 when he announced he was quitting drugs for good.
“Yo guys, I’m making an announcement,” he said on Instagram Live at the time. “I don’t sip no more lean at all. I don’t do no more drugs, fuck all that.” In the background, someone could be heard shouting: “Good job, Pumpee!”
