Lil Eazy-E Suggests Proposed HIV Bill Is “Population Control”

California lawmakers considering lessening the penalty for those who knowingly expose their sexual partners to HIV is a case of “population control,” according to Compton rapper Lil Eazy-E.

While speaking with TMZ, the son of the late Eazy-E offered his thoughts on recent news about politicians mulling over whether or not to change HIV criminalization laws.

A new bill would make it a misdemeanor instead of a felony if someone has unprotected sex without disclosing their HIV-positive status to their partner.

“If you ask me, I think it’s population control,” Lil Eazy-E said. “For you just to be out here laying around with people unprotected and not letting them know that you are unsafe to have sex. You could have like a vendetta … You gotta have some consequences to stuff like that.”

Lil Eazy-E went on to stress that knowingly exposing someone to HIV without telling them should “most definitely” be considered a felony, and there should be “consequences for that.”

He later explained that his father, who died from complications of AIDS in 1995, came from “a different era” and likely didn’t have a full understanding of HIV and AIDS.

“My father’s situation is a whole lot different to this situation,” he said. “That was in a different era. Where [you] probably didn’t even have a full understanding of how serious this virus was. So, that’s a different topic. Nowadays, to save these kids and to save these individuals, you gotta let ’em know … That’s a whole different ball game with my daddy. Nowadays, it’s just crazy.”

    1. In st.louis they caught a black gay college wrestler giving over 50 guys HIV. Police found out bc he secretly recorded them with his comp camera.

    2. what possible reason could they have to suggest that this would be a good idea? i cant blame anybody for thinking this is population control. Knowingly transmitting HIV is one of the worst things you can do in this world.

      1. It’s fucked up, but people really aren’t dying from that shit anymore if they get treatment. It’s about as bad as giving somebody herpes now, which is also fucked up, but nobody deserves to go to prison for it now when there is effective treatment. Watch who you’re raw dogging (which I must say is some nasty shit that I never understood when I was single myself).

        1. Thats some flawed logic…i think you would feel differently if you found out somebody knowingly gave u HIV.

          1. This is exactly why laws, ideally, shouldn’t be based on people’s feelings, but on facts, and the fact is, HIV is preventable, treatable, and impossible to transmit from someone who’s living with HIV and taking meds for it. Impossible. So it’s not like a loaded pistol at all. What makes it still so hard to live with HIV, and tell people about it, and get treatment for it, is the way HIV is systemically treated as some sin or punishment, and people with HIV are seen as weapons and criminals, an untruth these laws promote. Getting rid of the laws means better access to health and fewer people getting HIV. These laws keep people unsafe. Wish someone’d told Eazy-E’s son that.

    3. It have to think not having sex u til one is married is logical according to the Bible, aids is a man made disease.

    4. People are able to live with it now as long as they take their medicine, so it’s an outdated penalty is all. Magic ain’t the only one who has been living with that shit for 30 years now.

    5. It happened to me in Massachusetts. No laws in my state. I put myself through college. The man that infected me was 2 x my age. I have stopped working and can barely walk from bone disease and suffering diarrhea daily. It affects all organs in body. Its domestic terrorisim. I cry everyday.
