Layzie Bone is gearing up to release some new music, and what he’s got in store is sure to be a big hit with the marijuana fans of the world.
In honor of 4/20 — the international weed smokers holiday — the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper will release an updated version of his annual Smoke With Me mixtape via his own Harmony Howse Entertainment imprint.

According to a press release, all of the tracks on the mixtape “will be about marijuana and feature a melodic tone that is sure to entice any listener to partake in their favorite 4/20 festivities.”
Set to arrive on April 20, this year’s version of Smoke With Me Vol.1 will include three brand new tracks: “Smoking on Information,” “Like to Smoke,” and “Smokin.”
In keeping with the marijuana talk, Layzie Bone recently recalled the time The Notorious B.I.G. tried to steal weed from him during a studio session for “Notorious Thugs.”
During his interview with Breakbeat Media last month, the Bone Thugs spitter discussed the time Biggie apparently tried to get sneaky with some weed he brought to the recording session.

According to Layzie, everyone from Bad Boy Records was in the house that night, and he had over two ounces of weed to share with everyone. However, Biggie is said to have thought the special gift was for him only, and he wasted no time helping himself.
“We first got to the studio, it was Lil Cease, Stevie J, Puffy was in there man the whole Bad Boy camp; so I come in, I had two ounces of weed,” Layzie said. “So the n-gga, Biggie Smalls, put my weed in his pocket, man. I’m like ‘Ay n-gga.’ [He had it] in both of them. He talking ’bout he thought I was giving it to him, and I’m like, ‘Nah, n-gga, that’s for the party, man.”
The Notorious B.I.G. isn’t the only rapper with sticky fingers when it comes to marijuana. In 2018, Swizz Beatz revealed that he once stole weed out of Snoop Dogg’s pocket backstage at a show in New York before the pair knew each other.
Speaking to JOE.co.uk, Swizz explained: “Doggystyle comes out and Snoop Dogg goes to perform in Queens for the first time ever in New York, I think,” Swizz began. “And we’re in there super deep and he’s performing and doing everything. And what do I do?”

Swizz, then addressing the camera, said: “Snoop, I owe you and I don’t think I’ve ever told you this story. But I went in your dressing room and stole some weed out your pocket.”
