Lauryn Hill is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her debut album, The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill, by heading out on tour. The enigmatic singer will hit the road in July and wrap up the shows in October.
“This album chronicled an intimate piece of my young existence,” Hill said in a press release. “It was the summation of most, if not all, of my most hopeful and positive emotions experienced to that date. I Loved and believed deeply in my community’s ability to both Love and heal itself provided it received the right amount of support and encouragement. Our world today, both complex and changing, is in need of the balance between moral fortitude and cathartic expression. I hope the Love and energy that permeated this work can continue to inspire change with Love and optimism at the helm.”

If anybody actually pays to go see this is a SUCKER! 20 years of the same album.
lol a kid dissrespecting a real artist !!
I loved that album, but she’s not gonna pull that late diva shit on me cause my time is valuable
Hell to the no !!! Her reputation for being late
ahhh yer mom
Lauren’s one of the best MCs to ever pick up a mic, but damn if I’m gonna fork out big money for her to *maybe* show up (late). Shit’s happened waaaay too many times in the past decade.
I saw Lauryn on the Nas tour last year and she TORE IT DOWN, low key she upstaged Nas. Do yourself a favor, if she comes to your city, go see her, you will not be disappointed. Going again this year!
She destroyed her own legacy
I don’t think it was all her doing . I think she didn’t want to sell her soul for stardom or maybe she saw something that wasn’t right and backed out . She screwed up a lot of money true but The powers that be basically said you’re fired from the entertainment business
I think Lauren needs the money after basically backing out and NO to fame and stardom . The tax collectors failed marriages and mental instability. Now it’s like she’s old and only has ONE album to tour on. I get it’s a 20th anniversary but she been touring that album this is just an excuse to keep touring it for the money. Who wants to do 30+ shows as a 40 year old woman with kids jus saying.
Need some more crack cash huh? Seriously this bitches brains fried
Any one can drop an album of mediocre music every year like drake or future. Lauryn Hill on the other hand made a classic artistic album that’s personal and poignant. 20 years on its still relevant and relatable because it was wrote from the heart. Can guarantee no one gonna be bumping a migos or lil Uzi album in 20 years time coz it trash. Miseducation of lauryn hill is an album every one should listen to
Nope! Not going to get me for a 4th time! Last year was it for me…… she was so late they pulled the plug during her set…… plus will she even be performing the songs as they were on the album or rearranged music…… I’m good on Ms Hill still luv her music ….I just won’t be supporting any of her concerts!!!
