Nipsey Hussle’s longtime partner Lauren London is among the many paying tribute to the slain rapper on the second anniversary of his passing. On Wednesday (March 31), the actress/model posted a photo of Nipsey to her Instagram account and told her 9.5 million followers what it feels like in the wake of losing a loved one.
“The Day Of Ermias’ transition changed the course of my life forever,” she explained in the caption. “2 years, and it feels like yesterday and eternity all at the same time. Grief and Healing have been constant companions on this journey. In Honor of His life and demonstration… May all of Heaven exalt Your name for all, You did on Earth and beyond. Brave and Beloved Soul, Ermias. You are missed deeply. You are loved immensely. You will forever be. I love you eternally. Your Boogie.”
Nipsey Hussle and Lauren London started dating in 2013 and were committed until the day he died. Their son, Kross Ermias Asghedom, was born in 2016.
Following Neighborhood Nip’s death, London has made it very clear their family is taken care of and didn’t want any kind of charity. In April 2019, retired NFL player Reggie Bush and his wife donated $10,000 to a GoFundMe campaign with the hopes of raising $100,000 for Nipsey’s sons Emani and Kross, but the family had them take it down.
“[Nipsey] touched a lot of lives in a positive way,” Bush explained at the time. “He wanted to make a difference in his community, and communities like it all around the world. As a tribute to Nipsey, I would like to offer support to his children, and all funds from this GoFundMe will be transferred directly into a trust that was created solely for his legacy, his two children, Kross & Emani.”
Sources close to the family reportedly said Nipsey’s children were “set for life” thanks to the multiple trust funds their father set up. He reportedly owned all of his master recordings and the Marathon Clothing store at the time of his death.

According to TMZ, Nipsey’s estate filed legal documents in December 2020 revealing his final inventory appraisal is valued at over $4 million. The bulk of Nipsey’s money reportedly comes from his trademark portfolio, shares of companies he owned and personal items such as gold necklaces and Rolexes. Nip owned a 25 percent share of stock in The Marathon Clothing company worth roughly $271,000 and a 100 percent interest in All Money In No Money Out Inc., which is valued at around $2 million.
His trademark portfolio — which includes his name, voice, signature, photograph or likeness on or in products, merchandise or goods — is worth $913,000.
Tributes have been pouring in across social media in honor of Nipsey Hussle. Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, T.I. and G-Eazy were among the many sending their condolences to lauded MC.
