Latto has clapped back at the critics who accused her of photoshopping her Coachella crowd, and said she just “expanded” the original photo.
Eagle-eyed critics spotted Latto’s dual photos on social media, which included double images of certain crowd attendees, implying that the Atlanta lyricist may have altered the photo.

On Tuesday (April 18) the “Big Energy” rapper took to Instagram to debunk those claims.
“Never photoshopped a crowd lmao,” she wrote on her since-deleted Instagram Stories. “I expanded it so it would fit in my Instagram swipe without getting cut off but it was clearly fucked up so I didn’t end up using it & just posted the wrong version by accident on Twitter babes.”
She then tweeted a video from her set and wrote: “Haters will say it’s photoshopped :/”
Latto had a memorable Coachella performance for many reasons. Lola Brooke, Saweetie and TiaCorine stopped by the set, and Latto premiered a new song, which partially seemed to take aim at Nicki Minaj.
On the song Latto can be heard rapping: “Bitches acting like they running shit, they really ran through” and “She thought I would kiss her ass, she mustn’t have took her meds.”
At the end of the track, Latto had more words for her unnamed rival, rapping: “Say she got a problem, imaginary smoke/ Bitch, you said it’s up, then put on the floor.”
She then concluded: “Pussy ho… Let a bitch know, we tired of the subtweets this year.”

The new track comes after Latto and the Pinkprint rapper engaged in a vitriolic Twitter spat last year, which stemmed from the latter’s frustration that “Super Freaky Girl” was deemed a pop — rather than a rap — song by the Grammys, but Latto’s “Big Energy” wasn’t.
“I have no prob being moved out the RAP category as long as we r ALL being treated FAIRLY, If [‘Super Freaky Girl’] has [2 billion views] moved out RAP then so does Big Energy,” Nicki tweeted, referring to the Atlanta rap rookie’s multi-platinum single.

Latto ultimately responded by tweeting: “Damn I can’t win for losing… all these awards/noms I can’t even celebrate,” which led to Latto calling out Nicki Minaj for her “ongoing subtweets” while branding her a “bully” who’s “older than my mom.”
“1st of all I texted u cause I didn’t wanna do the internet sht w sum1 I looked up to,” she wrote. “Just like the 1st time I DMed u asking about ur ongoing subtweets. I wanted to speak up cuz like I said I do agree but the way u going about it seems malicious esp. after how we left off.”
