Latto continues to fan the flames of rumors that she’s dating 21 Savage with the addition of a new tattoo.
The “Big Energy” rapper debuted her new ink just ahead of the 65th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 5). Though she didn’t overtly call attention to it, fans caught the name “Sheyaa” behind Latto’s ear in red ink – which just so happens to be 21’s first name.

Rumors of the pair being an item have persisted since 2020, when both rappers posted an Instagram Story from the same tropical location. Latto was quick to deny they were an item, however, saying in an interview weeks later that they were merely performing at the same location.
“No,” she said when asked if there was anything romantic going on with the Savage Mode II rapper. “It’s videos on YouTube of me performing with him at the Palace, I think that was the Palace. Like it be real respect, you know what I’m saying?”

Months later, 21 Savage publicly praised Latto’s “no makeup” look on his Instagram Story – though it was quickly deleted as it was likely a DM fail.
“No makeup Dam u fine It’s only 1 way I can come bout you twin,” he captioned the Story featuring a photo of Latto shopping.

The pair continued to fuel rumors with Instagram posts and collaborating on Latto’s “Wheelie” track, and even DreamDoll added to the speculation with a bar referencing Latto and 21 on her 2021 single “Tryouts.”
“And Mulatto, yeah, that’s my little honey bun/Ask her how many times she came, she said 21, 21,” the Bronx native rapped.
However, 21 still denied having a “celebrity” girlfriend when asked recently.
“I’ve been hot for a long time. I don’t do all the antics and shit. I don’t got a celebrity girlfriend,” he said on ClubHouse in December. “I’m not finna be out everywhere. I’m not dropping music every other week. I’m not going on live talking about shit every other week.”

Latto has previously confirmed she’s had a boyfriend for over two years, but noted that she preferred to keep his identity under wraps.
“I don’t like to speak on it. I just don’t make it a public thing,” she revealed to Hollywood Unlocked‘s Jason Lee in 2022. “I feel like I have to expose so much of my life unwillingly and I don’t wanna expose it.”
