Lady Luck has shared her disappointment in the ongoing feud between two of Hip Hop’s hottest leading ladies, Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion.

During a recent interview with Chuck Creekmur of AllHipHop, the Def Jam veteran stated that she felt the New York City native crossed a line by referencing Hot Girl Meg’s late mother amid their very public spat.

“I’m [a] diehard Nicki [supporter],” she said . “You already know that. I went to war for Nicki and all of that. I think that she’s super dope. That mom thing, that shit stabbed me in the chest. And even if she only said it once. Like, ‘Bitch, you’re lying on your dead mama.’ That’s a hard ass line,” she added revealing she found the “Big Foot” lyrics distasteful.”

“But to make it like a [repeated phrase]. You know I love Nicki. I guess they say all is fair in battle rap and that’s why I’m not into that because that line, it’s rough, man,” she concluded.

Lady Luck, whose mother passed away less than a year ago, went on to express a desire for rap battles to focus more on the art of rapping rather than provoking others with inflammatory rhymes.

“What happened to battle rap?” she inquired. “I’m not talking about Nicki and Megan right now, but battle rap in general. What happened to y’all being nice? Better metaphors and all of that. It became the tea and who can tell the other one’s personal business more. And that’s not rap to me.”

Nicki has been widely criticized for how she has handled the feud, most recently catching flak for comparing Megan’s shooting to Chris Brown’s infamous 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna.

The Young Money hitmaker has also been forced to deny that she is using cocaine after several users on social media accused her of going on a “coke rant” against her adversary.

Additionally, Roc Nation also caught a fade by Minaj in one of her many social media tirades last month.

Meanwhile, Meg’s “Hiss” track — the song that started it all — found favor on the charts, topping the Billboard Hot 100 several weeks ago. According to Chart Data, the Houston Hottie and the “Big Foot” rapper are now the only female rappers in history to debut multiple songs at No.1 on the Hot 100 tally.

The song in question is Megan’s third single to top the chart, following two from 2020: “Savage” with Beyoncé and “WAP” alongside Cardi B.

Nicki, on the other hand, topped the charts for her verses on Doja Cat’s “Say So” and 6ix9ine’s “Trollz” in 2019 and 2020 respectively, plus her own solo hit “Super Freaky Girl” released in 2023.
