Megan Thee Stallion and her rival Nicki Minaj now share the same accolade as the Texas rapper’s latest single “HISS” has topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

According to Chart Data, the Houston Hottie and the “Big Foot” rapper are now the only female rappers in history to debut multiple songs at No.1 on the Hot 100 tally.

The song in question is Megan’s third single to top the chart, following two from 2020: “Savage” with Beyoncé and “WAP” alongside Cardi B.

Nicki, on the other hand, topped the charts for her verses on Doja Cat’s “Say So” 6ix9ine’s “Trollz” in 2019 and 2020 respectively, plus her own solo hit “Super Freaky Girl” released in 2023.

Earlier this month, Megan once again clapped back at Nicki Minaj as their public spat continues to escalate. During an appearance on the live radio app Stationhead (a platform favored by Minaj), the 28-year-old taunted her rap rival with the warning: “Don’t make me call Roc Nation.”

This was in response to the New York MC’s recent claims that the JAY-Z-founded label, which manages Megan, are paying people to bad-mouth her on social media and employing bots to promote Megan’s single “HISS,” which sparked the ongoing beef.

Tina Snow also talked about “HISS” challenging for the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 while seemingly responding to respond to one of Nicki’s bars as she said: “If we go number one, bitch, I might put the straw back in the Hennessy.”

Many perceived this to be a clap-back at the “Big Foot” line: “Your flow is such a bore/ Drinkin’ a bottle of Henny through a straw.”

These were the first comments Megan Thee Stallion made since the diss track about her, which mocked the death of her mother, Tory Lanez shooting her and her rumored liposuction, among other things.

Nicki has since been criticized for how she has handled the feud, most recently catching flak for comparing the aforementioned shooting to Chris Brown’s infamous assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. The Young Money hitmaker has also been forced to deny that she is taking cocaine after a number of users on social media accused her of going on a “coke rant” against Megan.
