Kurupt says that he did not participate in the Los Angeles riots of the 1990s. However, he and fellow West Coast rapper Warren G did go see the events firsthand.
“We’s at Dr. Dre’s house watching it on television and Warren G was like, ‘Hey cuz, let’s go into the street,'” Kurupt tells VladTV. “We went into the jungle. That was the first time Bloods walked up to me and was like, ‘What’s up, Kurupt, Blood? Man, I fucks with your shit.’ I was shocked, like, ‘Damn.’ I was accepted in the jungle. They came and said hi to me and shit.”
Kurupt says that events like the death of Michael Brown and others at the hands of police happen more often than most people think.
“Now it ain’t even about whether it’s white or black or it’s the police,” he says. “What it’s about is, there’s too many incidents. The incidents are the problem. But see there’s so many incidents that ain’t been recorded, that ain’t touched the airwaves.”
Kurupt says that he doesn’t drive anymore because he has been victimized by the police, too.
“I’d rather put my brother to drive, somebody else who has better luck than me,” he says. “Police don’t never pull cuz over, Ima roll with cuz. ‘Here take this cheese.’ I’ll roll with cuz. Me driving, though? They pull me over every fucking time. ‘Why did you pull me over?’ ‘Uhhhh’ Racial profiling.”

Uhhh, the timeline doesn’t even add up. ‘What’s up, Kurupt, Blood? Man, I fucks with your shit.’
The Chronic came out in December 1992. The Riots were in April 1992. Nobody knew who Kurupt was before that album, those were the first songs he was on. Back then, albums didn’t leak like they do now.
Shut yo ass up, how the fuck you know what another mufucka heard from Kurupt back in 92 ? Kill yaself
Soo… you think when Chronic dropped, it was the first time people in LA heard their music? How do you think they got enough ‘burn’ to go country-wide, and worldwide? Had to start in LA. fool. Of course people heard the raps they made before the album dropped, that’s how they got their steam! local support, you idiot!
None of the songs he was featured on was released before the album dropped. Since you both are 15 years old, you wouldn’t know that. Now go make me a sandwich and shut the fuck up when grown folks is talkin’.
