Krayzie Bone Names His Top Emcees With Steve Lobel

After Krayzie Bone and Steve Lobel swap wild Bone Thugs-n-Harmony stories, the Cleveland, Ohio rapper names his top three MC’s of all time in an exclusive interview with HipHopDX.

“One of the greatest emcees to me in the industry would be Treach from Naughty By Nature,” Krayzie says in the “Live With Steve Lobel” segment. “He’s a beast. A monster. Number two would be Eminem and number three would be Tech N9ne.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the Grammy Award-winning rapper compares the music industry from when he first started in the early 90s to the present digital age. He states that today’s rappers lack the experience of truly grinding in the industry.

“I think it’s a lot of entertainers out there today that are just in it because they love the lifestyle,” the 42-year old artist says. “They don’t care if they fall off today or tomorrow. As long as they get their little shine I guess they happy.”

“Everybody feel like if they got a couple of followers on social media they feel like they that dude or they that person,” he adds.

      1. Nice try. You were the one saying Drake was the best in every article and acting like he was untouchable, and now, you’re riding Eminem. Was it because Drake lost in the Grammys Monday night? FOH.

      1. Stfu stupid ass nigga. Treach was/is dope. So was Big L and Pun.

He named somebody that HE THINKS are in HIS Top 3. Why cant u clowns ever understand that

      2. Treach is actually a highly skilled rapper/lyricist. True hip hop heads know this. Stop being a fa66ot just because it’s trendy, BITCH!!!

    1. Didnt really like ctd thought it had a couple good tracks but I think him following that conc ept messed with the creative process. Ive heard way better songs from him that he wont release for some reason hopefully hes putting the songs on ctd 2 and 3, I wish he would scrap the ctd concept

    2. #1 is and will always be The late great Biggie #2 is Tupac #3 Ice Cube #4 8 Ball MJG #5 Eminem #6 E40 #7 LL Cool J #8 Jay Z #9 Method Man #10 Krayzie Bone again it’s my top emcees Krayzie by far is the coldest and the most under rated rapper of all time!

      1. I actually would put krayzie a little higher than 10, I did like your list though. KB biggest issues is he never releases his best music. If you youtube his periscope he plays a lot of his unrelease music, which should be on a album

    3. He got his own opinions but we all know its Pac,Nas,Rakim Allah and Biggie whatever the order, then its Sarface,Jadakiss, DMX,Eminem and Jigga, and again you can put em in whatever order, and again if you are old enough you can throw in Big Daddy Kane…

    4. Krayzie is definitely one of the most underrated MCs of all time. I’d put him in my top 20. Bone as a group, is top 3 rap groups of all time. I’d only put NWA and Wu-Tang Clan in the same class as them.

    5. Krayzie would easily be like top 5 or the greateast ever if he would atcually put out his music that I hear from him on perioscope
Chashing the devil was a mediocore album. kray

    6. Choices are different, datz kray’s.,,and dosen’t mean dat’s it…i’ll actually put kray first in ma list.2 shady 3, immortal techniques 4, tech n9ne 5. method man.
