Krayzie Bone has reacted to the Bizzy Bone song “Bizzy Get’s Busy” from his new album I’m Busy, on which he called out the rest of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony for excluding him on recent tour dates.
But according to Krayzie, Bizzy isn’t banned from touring with the platinum-selling Hip Hop group. In fact, he tells HipHopDX with a laugh: “He knows the tour schedule. He’s always welcome.”
I’m Busy was released on Sunday (September 11) and finds Bizzy calling out Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, Wish Bone and Flesh N Bone for hitting the road without him.
“Why this music sound so shitty?/ Why the fuck is Bone Thugs doing a show without Bizzy?/ Rest in peace to fam litty, n-ggas will shoot you in your city/ Why the fuck is Bone Thugs doing a show without Bizzy?/ I’ll say it again, you should be able to say what you want if they really your friends,” he raps.
Krayzie was asked about Bizzy’s absence on tour during an interview with VladTV in December 2021, not long after their epic Verzuz against Three 6 Mafia.
“Bizzy got his reasons,” he said at the time. “I don’t know. I don’t have conversations with him about that kind of stuff. I let him do him. When he feel like coming and doing what he do, that’s what he do.”
Bone Thugs rose to notoriety in the early ’90s after brokering a deal with Eazy-E and Ruthless Records. Their 1995 sophomore album and second project for Ruthless, E. 1999 Eternal, arrived just four months after Eazy-E’s death and sold over 300,000 copies in its opening week.
It remained at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks and has since been certified 4x-platinum.
Krayzie has said this 1000 times that Bizzy is always welcome back whenever he wants and that him not being at shows is his decision not the groups
Kray Bone should have been named Logical Bone, dude says like 4 or 5 words that clear
any misunderstanding or issues surrounding Bone. I’ve always thought and look at him as the leader of the group.
Leader is Layzie
Love Layzie and everybody sometimes looks at him as the leader simple because he talks the most out of all the members. But let’s be realistic if you’re a Bone fan you know for sure Lay is too immature at times to be the leader of Bone. He got upset because the migos said they were the greatest group ever and he started a stupid immature beef with them over something they said that had nothing directly to do with Bone. You can’t be a leader if your always overreacting to emotional urges, that eventually makes the entire group look like bullies or haters. Also your leader can’t be plastered majority of the time, and be the one making decision for the group.
I really been liking some of the solo joints bone has been doing lately with the exception of Flesh, flesh hasn’t had a good solo album since he came home. Krayzie melodies album and leaves of legend were good project with smooth sounds and good production. Bizzy Carbon monoxide and I’m busy are good, didn’t really like the previous 2 before his recent joint. Layzie and HC the Chemist Eyez on the Prize was a banger too. When they get high quality production and stay away from all that murder murder end of the world stuff they put together Solid work. New Waves is one of the most slept on Bone albums ever, even though it’s just Krayzie and bizzy.
Nah classic bone has always been bout that murder murder shit. Creepin and e1999 were all about that. How you gonna say bring back bone without it when that’s what they bout. The
Yea I got you I was a fan of that too in the 90’s in early 2000’s but as you get older you mature, so I would assume the music would be more mature as well. Bone is a lot older and have different responsibility now. The streets and the struggle is where they came from, but they been away from that life for more than 20 years. If they released something new and constantly talked about thugging and murder it would mean that they lack growth as men and artist.
This is true
Welp that settles that. This seems to be a non issue.
Always liked Krayzie great to see him out here still doing his thing after almost 30 years, thats wild that rappers are having that type of longevity
I would love to get a non theme album from Krayzie. I think Kray is the most talented Bone but some of his solo
work is to concept heavy. Whatever the title of his album he sticks to the concept on every song. You can make a album
and talk about the struggle of the streets on one song and then your next song can be about a relationship. Variety is what makes albums great. But Krayzie is the best rapper in Bone
Here’s the thing.
I got start of by saying that I know Bone as if I grew up
With them. (My bad as I just figured out how to get rid of the big as ad blockin the view of my post.)
B has expressed the whole being excluded from show for many years in tracks and interviews. But if you a True fan, you know B does what he wants to do. Yet also sayin, “…I ain’t makin no money so what am I workin for?” I know B is about his money as he should be and I fully respect that. But when it comes down to it, sometime you have to sacrifice a bit now for the bigger reward later, doing what’s necessary to recieve your blessing in your calling. Believers would understand that and I know they are. They are super stars bust unfortunately have to rebuild that momentum to get back to that status where it would pay out as or close to as it once did.
If you watch B’s social media, he has expressed the love for the fella many times over so I was disappointing for me to hear the first track goin in on the homies.
Also he expressed how the I’m Busy album would be a whole new sound and the vast majority of the album was all the new millennial trap beat, at the same tempo, over experimental melodies. I’m not U-Neek or Tony C but I’ll make some bone beats for free just so yal can get that feel back. So we can get that feel back.
Egos need to be set aside with all of them and yal need to get back on it. I know yal have grown and it ain’t all about, mo murda mo murda like it was but I know yall got the illest chemistry to create the best music, crushin anything that’s out right now. Come on yal! Get yal shit together!
This is coming from the heart. Somebody who’s replace countless CDs because the got lost or scratched, bought other artists CDs that wouldn’t have otherwise simply because is had a Bone on it, been in my house pretending to be Bone in concert as a kid, been to a number of shows when yal were in my city, followed tour busses just to have a chance to meet and smoke with yal, flying out to LA to rock a stage with B, when Steve Lobel was in his range bumpin unreleased music at the time sayin, “this is my new artist named Nipsey Hustle” (a highlight of my life by the way).
Humbly,
-Mello
(This was better articulated the first time but I accidentally pressed reply instead of post)
I agree with a lot of what you said but I think the main issue is and will always be Bizzy always is going to be the guy that wants the most but does the least. He also doesn’t appreciate what Krayzie, Layzie and Wish did. Those guys kept Bone out there through that Strength and Loyalty era while Bizzy was dropping some really horrible solo music just to make a dollar. If it wasn’t for Those 3 members Bone’s name would have faded really hard and Bizzy wouldn’t have even been able to take nearly a decade to get him self together to have some of the success he is having now.
Thanks for the confirmation, Wally. I didn’t even mention how B screwed up Dre deal by wanting his own tour bus along with other selfish requests. Like I respect having standards but there’s a difference in knowing what sacrifices will serve a greater purpose. You don’t always need a limo or first class seats!
