Kool G. Rap Announces Full Length Album With The Alchemist

Iconic lyricist Kool G. Rap announced via Twitter and Facebook that he and Alchemist are at work on a full-length collaborative album. The Queens, New York emcee and Juice Crew alum has worked with the California-to-New York transplant throughout his 25 year career. This year alone, the pair worked together on G Rap’s Riches, Royalty, Respect album for Fat Beats Records.

Al and G Rap began collaborating on Mobb Deep’s acclaimed 1999 album, Murda Muzik, on the song “The Realest.” In the years since, they made “The ALC Theme” for Al’s Chemical Warfare.

In 2012, Kool G. Rap has also announced a full collaborative album with Brooklyn, New York emcee/producer Necro, called The Godfathers.

    1. a collab album with necro and now with alchemist, this is sweet music to my ears. that’s real hip-hop shit. this site needs more articles like this instead of motherfuckin drake, weezy, rick ross and the rest of the mainstream cunts

    2. Alchemist one of the most underrated, dopest producers doing it.

G Rap is the Godfather Of Gangsta Rap.

Dag G Rap gon drop 2 classics in 1 year next year?

In the words of Fabolous… NICE!!

    3. Sounds very interesting. When they hit the studio, i’m pretty sure it will be a certified classic without fail!

    4. Cant lie more excited for the necro collab thats a great pair hiphop needs that asap hopefully it comes early in the year

    5. Like the guy below, I’m more excited for the Necro collab

Necro’s beats are much more interesting than Alchemists beats, and the collaboration itself is just more interesting

    6. Great news. Can’t wait!

Uh… and cats need to get off that Necro > ALC mess. What’s the purpose?

Me personally, I can’t sit and listen to a cat rap about pure devilish nonsensical madness all the time let alone ever. Get that mess outta here.
