Kodak Black has expressed his displeasure with a fan after it was suggested that he needs to refrain from taking drugs after being arrested for drug possession and trafficking.

On Thursday (June 29), Kodak Black took to his Instagram Live to share some updates after recently being released on a $250,000 bond. However, his mood quickly changed after a fan warned him to stay away from drugs in the comment section.

“Damn, what kind of person are you?” the “Super Gremlin” rapper said. “This muthafuka said: ‘You need to go back to jail and sober up, Yak, for real, for real.’ Why do you feel like that’s the answer to my whatever you feel like? Why do you feel like that’s the answer to my whatchamacallit?”

Kodak Black was initially arrested in July 2022 on charges of trafficking oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, as well as driving with an expired license and tag.

The following day he was released on a $75,000 bond with strict pretrial release terms to submit to drug testing while the case was pending. While he missed a drug test earlier this year, he made up for it — but failed that one.

Kodak Black and his legal team appeared in Broward County court soon after. His lawyer claimed he was out of town when he was asked to do the first test, with the second test being a mix-up.

“There’s just so much with this that’s unjust and not right about this situation,” Kodak said at the time. “Not only am I denying it, but I’m hurt about it too because my character is being assassinated, and I can’t speak about all that because I don’t wanna make the story bigger than what it is.”

The rapper’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, has also been making waves after claiming that while Kodak Black got tossed in jail for three years for the weapons charge, the result would have been different if he was either white and/or politically connected like President Joe Biden‘s son, Hunter Biden.

“2 tiers of justice? Kodak was charged for the same crime. Got over 3 years,” he wrote. “Mr. Biden will not serve a day. Feels right? Do FBI agents and federal authorities take cases personally? I’m going to discuss this on my subscriber page.”

Last week, Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to two federal counts of failing to file his taxes, a misdemeanor. It was reported that the president’s son — who has a notoriously troubled history — also has a felony gun possession charge that will “go away” if he meets certain conditions. Hunter Biden is expected to serve no jail time for the charges.
