Kodak Black’s ‘Drink Champs’ Interview Fuels Concern For His Wellbeing: ‘He Needs Help’

Kodak Black’s full Drink Champs interview has yet to go public, but just a minute-long teaser clip from it was enough to worry fans about his condition.

On Tuesday (October 24), the REVOLT podcast shared a snippet from its upcoming episode, which features the Florida rapper talking about his admiration for Donald Trump. Aside from his unwavering support for the businessman-turned-politician, viewers almost immediately began commenting on his body language and how it seemed visibly off.

“He needs help NOW!!!!!!! Omg this just broke my heart! How on earth can people be around him and watch him fall apart like this and not have him in rehab or something,” one person wrote, while another added: “He look so unhealthy.”

Some were disappointed at N.O.R.E and co. for even having him on the show given his seemingly deteriorating state.

“Shouldn’t drop this video… what happened to uplifting the legends? This ain’t it,” one Instagram user commented, while another emphasized that further by saying it was “a new low” for the platform.

Check out the teaser snippet for the interview below:

Two months back, Kodak raised similar concerns when he fell asleep during an Instagram Live stream. In viral footage of the moment from mid-August, Yak was seen recording himself when he nodded off for a few moments with a cup in his hand.

Some felt he was simply tired and could’ve used some sleep while others believed a bigger issue was at play and that he needed professional help. These apprehensions were most likely valid considering the 26-year-old was seen being wheeled into a Broward County hospital earlier that month.

The Sniper Gang leader was filmed lying on a stretcher with one of his arms across his face as paramedics brought him into the hospital. A group of onlookers could be seen in the background, some of them recording on their phones.

The person who posted the video on TikTok wrote “Y’all pray for Kodak” atop the footage, along with the caption: “#OD #KodakBlack #Prayers #Fyp #BrowardHealth.”

When someone suggested that Kodak’s hospitalization was merely a stunt for an upcoming music video, the TikTok user replied: “No.”

    1. I can name a dozen other rappers who are as much of a train wreck as this dude that these same people never talk about. We all know this fake concern is just a passive aggressive diss because he supports Trump.

      1. Please name 8 rappers that looked like this on drink Champs. The man needs help. This doesn’t look like a guy who had one too many drinks(I believe that’s your confusion). He looks cracked the fuck out.

      2. Kodak has ALWAYS been different. Always been a little off. Always talked weird dressed weird etc. What’s any different now???

      3. i dont know maybe the severe opium problem he clearly has which has now redendered him incapable of holding a normal facial expression for mnore than ten seconds and has impaired his speech to the point you have to ask if he is nursing a severe brain trauma.

    2. The woke keyboard warriors are having a panic attack because a young successful black person supports Trump. They will say the same shit about Kanye, Waka Flocka, Sexyy Red, etc. How dare you be black and not follow the narrative? Whats wrong with you ? How dare you stop playing the victim, get a successful career, and make us look like hypocrites ?

    3. This is what happens when you’re from a state where the state bird is the 🖕 and the State’s anthem is “Retarded Horse” by A-Money Nichols.

    4. I get he probably look off but how you feel a way about him supporting Donald trump when he literally pardoned this man and got him out of jail. Y’all retarted

      1. He’s up there with Pac for sure. Do your ears work? Kodak been dropping hits since he was 11 yrs old listen to brutal youngin, project baby, painting pictures come on u gotta start listening to this music.

    6. I mean, let’s just call it what it is. Rap culture is PUSHING drugs, violence, ignorance, and irresponsible parenting on young people. Normalizing it. This same guy will be performing on Nickelodeon at the bet awards and nobody will care. Is he being exploited on drink champs? Yes. But, are you expecting drink champs to be some stalwart of morality? The concept of the show is to drink yourself stupid and talk about stuff you shouldn’t be mentioning publicly. I’m surprised there’s not “Pill Champs”, “Coke Champs”, “Fentanyl Champs”, I mean, why stop there? It’s not like anything means anything in this country anymore.
