āThe injury is much more serious than I thought. Anyone who bought tickets will get a full refund, youāll get an email soon. We will be back with new tour dates as soon as possible, and I canāt wait to get back out there with you guys and turn up how we do. For the same reasons stated above, the āMr. Ragerā hitmaker will be unable to fulfill his commitments with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, with whom he was scheduled to play a pair of shows in June and July.
āDue to his injury at Coachella this weekend, Kid Cudi is postponing his entire tour,ā the group shared on social media. āUnfortunately that includes the two dates he was doing with RHCP. We will update you with new support for these shows.ā

The 40-year-old rapper and singer ended up breaking his foot when he jumped off the stage during his last-minute performance at the festival in California, though he learned a valuable lesson in the process.
In a video shared to X (formerly Twitter) earlier this week, he humbly accepted that he may just be past his prime rage age.
āUm, yeah. Shit got real yesterday,ā he said while lying in bed. āThis is what happens when a 40-year-old man tries to prance around off stage like heās 26, like he used to do back in the day. I learned a valuable lesson ā no more prancing around and jumping off stages.
āIām hoping that Iāll be healed up in time for tour. Thatās the plan. I donāt wanna let you guys down, so yeah, thatās what weāre aiming for. Not cancelling anything just yet.

He continued: āJust gonna wait and see how things go. But Iām okay; little sore. Yesterday was a lot of pain, but Iām doing better now. I have a little temporary cast on and I gotta go get a real cast in a little bit. Apparently, I broke something in my heel.
āThis is a major setback. But donāt worry, Iāma bounce back. I love yāall, all day! Engage the rage, but not at 40.ā
