Kevin Hart Says He Understands Kanye West’s Frustrations

When asked to speak on rapper Kanye West’s string of recent outbursts, comedian Kevin Hart expressed familiarity with the Windy City emcee’s recent circumstances and expressed his belief that everyone has a breaking point. Hart, who says Kanye is a friend of his, revealed that he too has had his own Kanye moment, but did so in front of people who wouldn’t later judge him.

“I think everybody has a breaking point,” said Hart. “It’s just where you choose to have that breaking point. I’ve had those breaking points. It’s just been around people that are comfortable enough with me where they can hear the breaking point and not judge me by it later. But I don’t judge Kanye or hold anything against him. He’s a passionate guy. If anything that you can say, take the fact that he’s passionate. I know him. He’s a friend of mine. He’s like that with everything. He puts his passion into his work.”

Hart later commented on what he feels is the reason behind Ye’s rants, specifically those aimed at the fashion industry. According to the comedian, Kanye has found himself in a “rage of passion” because he feels that no one has given him a chance or understands his passion.

“Right now, this clothing thing is pissing him off,” said Hart. “Cause he wants somebody to understand that he is passionate about it, he knows what he’s talking about. ‘Gimme the chance.’ He feels like nobody will. And it’s coming off in a rage of passion. Anybody who says anything that is not remotely close to understanding what he is saying or trying to execute is getting the—they’re getting the ‘ahh!’ But it’s—I get where it’s coming from, man. At the end of the day, take from it from what he’s really trying to express. And it’s just that ‘Hey, I really love what I’m talking about. I really want to do and execute what it is that I’m talking about.’”

Over the past few months, Kanye has used his Yeezus tour to air out his frustrations with the fashion industry and more. Most recently, the rapper criticized those responsible for choosing the nominees for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards when it was revealed that he only received two nominations.

“So, when the Grammy nominations come out and Yeezus is the Top 1 or 2 albums on every single list, but only gets two nominations from the Grammys,” said Ye. “What are they trying to say? Do they think that I wouldn’t notice? Do they think that some way that I don’t have the power to completely diminish all of their credibility at this moment…People come to me and they congratulate me on those two nominations. Fuck those nominations.”

Kanye received Grammy nominations for both Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song.

    1. Kevin Hart Passionately defends Passionate Kanye West’s Passion, explaining his rage of passion simply as the breaking point that Passionate people reach when people do not appreciate a Passionate person’s Passion.

      1. Wow that was a passionate explanation of the passionate explanation of a man’s passion about another man’s passionate passion.

      2. Everyone is a pawn for the purple preponderous passion that kanye spews like a place of on point passion fruit passionate pumpin pim pardashian poon

      1. You probably eat up the pages that are stuck together you gayboy. I’d rather be a leader than a follower and certainly rather a d**k than a swallower.

    2. Kanye just wants recognition in all of these different fields without putting the work in. He wants recognition in architecture? Have him go through 5 year of school, plus 5+ more years of working to earn the Architect’s Registration. He wants recognition in fashion? Have him spend years developing fashion lines rather than just trying to piggyback off his modest success in the music industry. He’s not a genius, he’s just an ornery spoiled brat who thinks he should be recognized in many different fields without actually doing any work.

      1. Wrong.

Kanye dont want recognition in no damn fashion field he just wants a damn opportunity to put his ideas out their and he cant because the Europeons dont want to lose their stranglehold on fashion.

Negroes spend a billion a year on Gucci, Fendi, Louie, Prada, Luarent, Versace etc etc, all that Europeon shit owned by white folk and they are not about to allow somebody as influential as Kanye to bum rush their cash cow and start a trend where rich Black folks start buying high end fashion from non-whites.

Kanye West is a musical genius but he has to understand white supremacy and how it works, he can make white music and marry a white woman but to them he is still a ni99er.

      2. “Kanye dont want recognition in no damn fashion field he just wants a damn opportunity to put his ideas out their and he cant because the Europeons dont want to lose their stranglehold on fashion.”

Fucking kid already had his runway show and worked with Nike and made his t-shirts and all sorts of shit. They just suck. Nobody wants them and he’s not really good at it. He had his chance and it turns out he’s not as great at making dresses as he is sampling obscure samples for records.

      3. I laughed at the guy who said no one wants kanyes shit. His nike shoes sell for 5 times the price they cost at retail. His collaboration with APC and Louis Vuitton both sold out quickly. His runway show was critically well received. And like it or not he innovates fashion for better or worse. The guy has a vision, and he’s pissed that those with the infrastructure to put his vision out don’t take him seriously.

      4. I think it’s truth that no one wants Kanye’s fashion lines. It’s not like that nigguh was sellin out PLAIN WHITE TEES for $120. Clowns that make $2K a month are standin in line for days tryin to spend $2K on a pair of AirYeezy’s. Yeah, nobody wants his ish.

    3. This why Kevin is fallin off, before he blew up he woulda took this opportunity to clown Kanye and im sure it woulda been hilarious

      1. Kevin Hart finally gave in and put on the dress to effeminate and emasculate his image so Hollywood should fully embrace him now.

Mike Epps said no no no.

      2. Mike Epps had a roll in Hangiver 3 and he’s starring in Repentance out now, hes doing a toy drive in the Hood at the moment with his manhood intact.

    5. How can you ‘defend’ comments LIKE TELLING PEOPLE WHAT THEY SHOULD LIKE or WHO THEY THINK IS A GENIUS?! This is not communist Russia or China….. critics & Grammy voters CAN like whoever they like, not be ‘pressured’ from an attention seeking WHORE in the public cryin’ about their ‘lack of respect’! GUARANTEE the Grammy voters heard THAT Loud & Clear & next time he’ll get ZERO nominations! You can’t force somebody to LIKE what they are TURNED OFF by! Hart stick to tellin’ jokes, NOT defending narcissists with needy egos…………

      1. i wasn’t a fan of yeezus. the thing is, the grammys aren’t based off who they like the most. it’s based off who made the most impact in that year. obviously kanye has your panties in a bunch more than macklemore. the grammys aren’t chosen by “grammy voters” this isn’t the people’s choice awards. he makes a point. he was on every single list #1 or #2. Rolling stone, complex, vibe (#3), it goes on and onGKMC should definitely win, but sara bareilles or whatever though? What has she even done? Daft Punk? Record of the year, ok, but album? No way. ya’ll obviously have no ambition in this world or you would understand. acting like kanye put in no work in fashion at all. hilarious. keep drinking that DX kool aid.

    6. Kanye is smart… the more u own the longer you stay relevant… he realizes how much black people spend on white owned black marketed “urban clothing lines…they dont spend as much money on music, since NAPSTER and torrent sites changed the music game…he is a star looking for more fuel to burn even his competitors like 50cent are gone but have back up ventures in other markets

      1. I hope that school was worth it because they obviously didn’t teach you sentence structure, punctuation, and clarity in your writing. SMH
